OUR STORY**BACKGROUND**
Please introduce your company and your role. I am a Senior Project Manager at Mail Metro Media, the commercial branch of the Daily Mail Group. We handle all advertising and brand partnerships for DMGT, which includes the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, Metro, and mailonline.co.uk.
**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What projects or services did your company engage Fellow Studio for? A brand we were collaborating with required a complex microsite. Fellow was responsible for both designing and building the site. What were your objectives for this project? Our goal was to create a microsite that the client would be satisfied with, featuring all the content from this year's and last year's partnership.
**SOLUTION**
How did you choose Fellow Studio? We had heard excellent feedback about their past work. We needed efficiency, promptness, precision, and a strong design capability, and we felt that Fellow could meet all these requirements. Can you elaborate on the scope of their work? They were tasked with building a microsite that included a homepage template, article templates, and the capability to host videos, galleries, and web forms.
What was the composition of the team? My main point of contact was an Account Director who handled all revisions, while Anthony and Paul were involved in all communications, which gave us confidence that we had design director-level oversight on every proof.
**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that indicate progress or success? Both the client and MMM were very pleased with the final product, and there’s potential for a second partnership to expand the hub—repeat business is always a positive indicator. In the post-campaign analysis, we observed high dwell times and a low bounce rate—while we created quality content, Fellow's effective UX design played a crucial role in making the content easily accessible.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs? It was very seamless. We had an internal kick-off meeting with Fellow followed by a client-facing one. Fellow provided a timeline that I integrated into my overall project schedule, and all deadlines were met. I kept the team informed whenever we needed more time from the client, and they adapted as needed.
What impressed you most about this company? They were incredibly personable; nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I understand these campaigns can be high-pressure and stressful, but they never made us feel like we were a burden. I can sincerely say they exceeded our expectations.
Are there any areas for improvement? I was very satisfied with the process—no improvements needed from our side.
