VR visit to Slonim Synagogue

The virtual reality visualization of the Great Synagogue of Slonim is part of the Belarus Shtetl project, which seeks to highlight Jewish heritage. This initiative immerses users in the cultural and social life of Jews from the 17th to the 19th centuries through VR storytelling. By combining historical archives with cutting-edge technology, we have developed a distinctive interactive visualization solution. The client aimed to address the significant impact that World War II, the Holocaust, mass emigration, and Soviet ideology had on the cultural landscape of Belarusian Jews, whose heritage remains largely unrecognized by contemporary residents. We assisted the client in revitalizing this cultural heritage through VR technology. To develop the project, our team visited the historic synagogue in Slonim to gain a deeper understanding of its architecture in order to create a highly detailed 3D model. We examined the actual site, reviewed elevation plans and historical documents, took photographs of both the interior and exterior details, and created photographic materials for a 360-degree view of the synagogue. This preparation of high-quality digital assets enabled us to construct an authentic 3D model that serves as the foundation for a virtual tour of the Great Synagogue of Slonim. Users can experience the architectural environment through VR headsets, allowing them to navigate freely around the structure and explore points of interest. This solution will be incorporated into the interactive exhibition of the Belarus Shtetl project and may play a key role in the establishment of a new Jewish Museum in Belarus. Key technologies used include Unity3D, SteamVR, and Blender3D.

A marketplace for consumer lending designed to offer affordable loans through a distinctive scoring model. The goal of Plend was to create a fintech solution that personalizes and enhances the fairness of the credit decision-making process using this scoring system. This technology supports their mission of fostering financial inclusivity, ensuring that everyone has access to a brighter future. In collaboration with Plend, we developed a fintech solution that promotes equitable credit agreements through a deeper understanding of a borrower's financial circumstances. The new credit analysis framework features modules for scoring, configuration, and authentication, all accessible via a visual dashboard. To ensure successful implementation, we created a prototype of the client's concept. Furthermore, we integrated a third-party system to accurately classify data and gain a comprehensive understanding of borrowers' financial situations. Consequently, we designed an authentication module for user management, along with configuration and scoring modules that assess loan applications based on well-defined criteria, including aspects like income, expenditures, age, and other relevant factors. During the development of the scoring module, we incorporated transaction classification for swift evaluation of borrowers' finances; visual dashboards for easy data visualization and analysis; and an administrative panel to streamline management of loan applications and credit agreements. With this new, detailed automated scoring system—built on precise analyses of relevant, up-to-date information—Plend can avoid unfavorable loans and tailor credit offerings, empowering individuals without being constrained by their credit history. MEDsafe

MEDsafe is a tailored web-based system created for physicians and their patients. It offers a convenient solution for consolidating comprehensive health information and retrieving patient data from mobile devices, clinical tools, wearables, and connected applications. The objective is to develop a solution that addresses the requirements of healthcare providers and patients to enhance the management and sharing of medical data across clinics. To achieve this, our healthcare experts built a health-record web application from the ground up, enabling users to store, manage, and share medical data within a unified platform. This user-friendly platform facilitates communication regarding treatments and care plans between doctors and their patients. Users can access sensitive information securely through authorization via Google and Dutch DIGID. Patients and healthcare providers can create, store, and manage medical data, care plans, and health measurements, while an administrative role is available for managing the system. Users can also invite family members and doctors to their network for collaborative discussions on care plans. With compliance to the HL7 standard, users can effortlessly share and access medical information from various healthcare organizations and services like Google Fit and Apple HealthKit, improving interoperability among different care providers and health information systems. MEDsafe is a secure electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) application, employing FHIR-based data storage and restricted user access. The project holds certifications in Information Security Management (ISO 27001), the Dutch information security management standard (NEN 7510), MedMij certification, and is also certified for medical devices (ISO 13485). The technologies used include Angular 7, TypeScript, Redux, Sass, Java 11, Spring Boot 2.1, Spring Framework, Docker, PostgreSQL, HAPI HL7 FHIR, Kubernetes, and Zuul.
