Our client, a practicing doctor, often faced difficulties in quickly connecting with patients for brief consultations or clarifications. To address this issue, he envisioned a medical communication platform designed to link doctors and patients more effectively. This platform aims to facilitate ongoing communication and provide medical assistance without the necessity for in-person visits. The client supplied us with initial wireframes and a detailed specification file, which clarified their requirements. A key aspect we focused on was integrating the platform with Stripe, enabling doctors to dynamically create new subscription plans. This functionality allows clients to easily subscribe to these plans using a credit card. Furthermore, we incorporated the Twilio API, which enables messaging and calls between patients and doctors, thus enhancing communication on the platform. These integrations were essential for the platform's success. Prior to commencing the project, we formulated a comprehensive plan that involved assembling a team of five specialists, including a DevOps engineer, backend developer, frontend developer, designer, and project manager. During the discovery phase, we uncovered additional functionalities that we decided to implement, which caused some phases to take longer than initially anticipated. Thanks to our hard work and commitment, we successfully delivered the core features of the project within 10 months, and we are now focusing on adding new features based on feedback from potential users.
