Collections Management System

Unknown

HOL/VODAFONE is a prominent telecommunications provider in Greece. Their objective was to automate their debt and collections processes. To achieve this, we integrated billing and payment data using a Middleware (WebSphere) solution, enabling daily calculations of customer balances, balance age, and overdue amounts across their entire customer base. This information allowed us to categorize each customer into specific collection profiles. Subsequently, we utilized these profiles to create new collection workflows tailored for both retail and corporate clients. We also implemented automated actions at each stage of the payment cycle for every profile, which included notifications for payments, defining and monitoring settlements, and managing service access. The system provided near real-time payment updates (within five minutes of receipt) for all retail customers of HOL/Vodafone. Our solution involved designing and developing a Collections Management System that facilitated daily debt monitoring, rule-based classification of collections, batch definition, and assignment to both internal and external agents. As a result, the system was capable of supporting 1.5 million customers, leading to significant benefits.

Order and Payment web-based application

Unknown

ELPEDISON is one of the leading energy and natural gas utility providers in Greece. The company required a web-based application for order entry and payment for its network of retail stores. To address this need, we conducted a thorough analysis of the business requirements, examined their technical infrastructure, and explored integration options with their CRM system to create a tailor-made solution for ELPEDISON. As a result, EXIS developed a web-based Order and Payment application that services over 80 retail locations selling ELPEDISON's products. This application facilitates the creation of new customers and orders, synchronizes product offerings, updates customer balances, and accepts cash or credit card payments. The outcome of this project was an automated interface with ELPEDISON's CRM, enabling the synchronization of customer information, available products, and customer balances. The solution provided several advantages, including:

Spare Parts Mobile App

Euronav

Euronav is an independent tanker firm specializing in the ocean transportation and storage of crude oil. By consistently adapting its strategy to the evolving shipping market, the group has established itself as the largest independent listed crude tanker platform globally. The company is based in Antwerp, Belgium, with offices across Europe and Asia. The Challenge Euronav’s vessels, operating worldwide, need spare parts for maintenance. Crew members must receive these parts, verify them against signed purchase orders, report any discrepancies, and update the company's ERP system. To streamline this process, the company opted to automate it using label printers, QR codes, and mobile scanners. Our Strategy We collaborated closely with Euronav's IT Innovation team to assess the current process with the goal of transforming it through digital solutions and methodologies. The Solution EXIS created a mobile application for spare parts that the onboard crew can use to digitally receive items by scanning the QR code on the label. This app allows for online checks and sends the results directly to the ERP. Special consideration was given to ensuring offline functionality since the app is used on Euronav's ships, where internet access is often unavailable. To achieve seamless data synchronization, we developed controls and tailored features. Results and Advantages The digital transformation of the purchase order reception process has helped Euronav minimize human errors, enhance data quality, and reduce the workload associated with recording receptions in the ERP, achieving near real-time synchronization.
