FanBolt unveiled its rebranding on January 1, 2016. We refreshed the logo, which had been in use since the early 2000s (see below), and completely overhauled the website’s layout. While we maintained the original brand colors, we introduced a more “geeky” feel to the entertainment news site.

Excite was tasked not only with creating the company's brand but also with providing direct advice and support for the platform and strategy during the launch and beyond. More updates on this initiative are on the way! For the current project, we developed the initial branding and usage guidelines, which include the logo, typeface, photography style, brand voice, and print materials.

Three Strands is an emerging brand that focuses on handmade soaps, balms, and other eco-friendly products. They sought Excite's expertise in designing packaging for their debut line of bar soaps and balms, with the goal of creating a unified design system that reinforced their brand identity and highlighted the premium nature of their offerings. We developed a set of budget-friendly labels and wraps and also refined the branding by enhancing the logo, creating a color palette, and selecting a typographic style and brand typeface. Additionally, we established a set of illustrative design elements that directly relate to the ingredients in each product. We’re excited to pick some of these off the shelf, and they have a delightful fragrance!
