Ciclo - bike rental system

Techwise

An independent bicycle rental service. Through a mobile app, users can rent bikes secured at various locations throughout the city. Administrators have the ability to monitor and manage stations, bicycles, rides, and users in real time. Our team played a comprehensive role in the project, from requirement gathering and design to development, testing, and launch, as well as ongoing maintenance. We created and released mobile applications for clients, including native iOS and Android apps, and a backend Android app for managing hardware and communication at bike stations. We worked alongside an external team to create a custom admin dashboard for system monitoring and management. Key features include GPS tracking with route mapping, a payment system automatically activated at the end of a ride that includes credit card management and validation, ensuring funds are held before the ride and captured or released afterward, retrying failed transactions, live updates on current rides, real-time status of nearby stations, detailed ride history, multilingual support, various authentication options (Google, Apple, Facebook, Email & Password), phone number and email verification, remote station control via MDM software, hardware communication (USB - Serial), automated background processes checking data accuracy and status, a problem-reporting section with extensive actions (email/SMS alerts to admins, halting rides, marking bikes as problematic), both automatic (custom triggers) and manual notifications (admin-sent), automatic data backups, monitoring for crashes and app performance, a scalable backend, adjustable UI for different screen types, remote configuration of system variables, network connectivity handling, and a franchise model for multi-level access and customization options. Marketplace app

This marketplace application features various user roles, including buyers, couriers, and sellers, and operates in two European countries. The Epix team became involved with the project post-launch. Our task was to swiftly enhance the app due to its numerous bugs and subpar existing code. We worked on stabilizing the product and introduced new functionalities such as shop and inventory management for sellers, search filters for buyers, a map displaying shops and products, a web scraping system, and an updated UI & UX for a more contemporary appearance, among other improvements. Our efforts extended to both mobile applications and the backend, supporting iOS and Android native apps with multi-role functionality (for sellers, buyers, and couriers) on smartphones and tablets. The marketplace currently features over 1000 shops.

Entertainment project

Beyond Enterprizes

We served as an extension of Beyond Enterprises for this blockchain-related project, which allowed entertainers to receive support from fans for their creative endeavors. Epix became involved in the project from its inception, utilizing technologies such as Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI to develop the app and integrate it with the client's backend.
