Corva

Corva is a healthtech startup that we assisted in transforming home-based patient care through the development of an AI-driven remote monitoring platform for managing chronic diseases. This solution led to a 62% increase in patient adherence and a 41% decrease in emergency room visits. The platform is a cross-device remote care application that leverages AI and smart wearables to continuously monitor patients with chronic conditions. The project's objective was to aid hospitals and private practices in alleviating the demand for in-person appointments while enhancing the ongoing care of patients suffering from ailments such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. We created a mobile-centric ecosystem that integrates with wearable health devices, allowing doctors to receive real-time biomarker updates and customized alerts. Patients are empowered to oversee their medication, diet, and exercise through smart assistant suggestions powered by machine learning. The main challenge was ensuring the precise real-time interpretation of data from various third-party wearable devices while adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring an intuitive user experience. We directed our efforts toward designing user-friendly patient interfaces, informative doctor dashboards with trend visualizations, and AI-powered alerts that aid in preventing critical incidents. The outcome was increased confidence among doctors, greater patient engagement, and a notable reduction in hospitalization rates.

PayFlow Engine

PayFlow Engine is a flexible, modular fintech solution designed to enhance payment processes for specialized marketplaces. As these marketplaces grow, they often encounter fragmented financial workflows, including seller payouts and platform commissions. Drawing inspiration from systems like Etsy, but offering cost-effectiveness and adaptability, PayFlow Engine provides enterprise-level functionality straight away. Some key features include: - Multi-currency wallets: Separate accounts for sellers that support different currencies - Automatic commission management: Real-time fee deductions based on transactions - Custom payout system: API-centric design with asynchronous queues and adaptable scheduling - Analytics dashboard: Immediate insights into all financial transactions We developed a white-label platform utilizing a scalable, API-driven architecture powered by FastAPI. Asynchronous payout processing is managed by Celery and Redis, while PostgreSQL and optional ClickHouse integrations provide detailed analytics. The admin panel was created with either React or htmx and Jinja2 for efficient deployments. Continuous integration and delivery pipelines, along with AWS services (ECS, RDS, S3), ensure a secure and scalable infrastructure. Payouts are facilitated through Stripe Connect, Wise, or direct banking APIs, allowing clients to select their preferred financial systems. Our multidisciplinary team, comprising backend, frontend, and DevOps engineers, as well as a product designer, QA specialists, and financial analysts, worked together to model intricate fee structures. From the initial architecture to final deployment, we empowered marketplaces to automate their payout processes, manage platform fees, and achieve complete visibility over their financial operations—without the need to start from scratch.

ShredSpots

ShredSpots is a mobile application designed by skaters for skaters, serving as a powerful resource for discovering top skate locations globally. Whether you're looking for a new venue to perfect your next trick or simply want to explore, ShredSpots aids in finding the ideal spots based on obstacle type, difficulty, and even the likelihood of being caught. Beyond a simple map, the app features an augmented reality gallery that links user-uploaded trick videos to actual locations, offering an engaging, location-based experience for the worldwide skating community. Developed using Flutter, it provides a seamless and responsive interface on both iOS and Android devices. Initially a passion project, it has transformed into a movement with over 200,000 skaters and more than 100,000 locations worldwide. ShredSpots is not merely an app; it is a dynamic ecosystem created from the vision of making skateboarding more accessible, expressive, and connected.
