**CHALLENGES**
We faced the challenge of establishing two-way communication between the smartwatches and the mobile application. Additionally, we needed to ensure real-time extraction and transmission of background data to the server using the MQTT protocol, as well as achieve consistent data synchronization between devices while facilitating bidirectional interaction with sports activities.
**APPROACH**
Our team started by evaluating the legacy version of the app and examining the smartwatch SDK. We established secure and stable communication channels among the smartwatch, mobile application, and backend. The backend architecture was specially designed to process real-time physiological data and user interactions, allowing for personalized fitness suggestions powered by AI models.
