Nutriento is a local restaurant in Cluj-Napoca dedicated to offering tasty, healthy alternatives to traditional fast food. We were thrilled to assist in developing a marketing campaign for Children's Day. Throughout June 2021, special edition menu items were introduced alongside the regular offerings. The aim was to support parents in promoting healthy eating habits for their children and to make nutritious food more approachable. To accomplish this, we designed a set of magnets featuring playful illustrations of various fruits and vegetables. Our challenge was to embody a fun and cheerful spirit that aligns with the more serious tone of the Nutriento brand.

Maneliada is a series of parties held in various cities across Romania, attracting a youthful audience aged 18 to 25 who enjoy a blend of retro pop, manele, and techno music in a lively and enjoyable environment. The brand has a relatively short history, emerging from a strong demand for regular events featuring electro-manele, a new genre that combines two contrasting music styles. Our collaboration with Maneliada was incredibly rewarding and enjoyable. We were tasked with revitalizing a brand that already had a defined identity. The goal was to enhance and modernize the logo, color scheme, and typography, while also creating icons and other graphic elements to unify the brand and give it a more professional appearance. By incorporating kitsch elements alongside layered high gloss and shine, the updated logo presents a cohesive look and style that aligns with the brand’s essence. This revision, while reminiscent of the original, is of higher quality, easily editable, and more suitable for a contemporary brand. Designing the logo was challenging due to the numerous layers and individual 3D renders needed to achieve a shiny gold effect. Fortunately, we provided the client with an editable version that can be adjusted as needed, along with alternate logo designs for merchandise, printing, and official documents. The expansive and maximalist logo resonates with the upbeat music played at Maneliada parties and the energetic vibe of the attendees. The icons, derived from the first letter of the wordmark, "M," feature glitter elements in various arrangements and colors. They are intended to complement the logo for use on social media, merchandise, website buttons, and more, representing the brand in a condensed and easily recognizable form. The client specifically requested a vibrant and energetic color palette to reflect the lively and dynamic nature of this established brand.

Adeyi is an Ethiopian textile brand focused on creating a modern and elegant interpretation of traditional handcrafted fabrics and styles from East Africa. The textiles are made from locally sourced materials such as cotton, wild silk, linen, and wool, and incorporate graphic designs and traditional patterns using natural dyes to honor Ethiopia's rich cultural heritage. Our collaboration with Adeyi was enjoyable as we helped them highlight their exquisite craftsmanship. We drew inspiration from African patterns, colors, and flora to develop a unified brand identity that aligns with Adeyi Textiles' values and mission. The brand's narrative is rooted in East Africa and celebrates the skills of local artisans. Elements of traditional patterns and colors are prominently featured throughout the branding. One of the challenges of this project was to create a complete visual and photographic identity from limited resources, specifically the natural dyes derived from plants and the handcrafted products. The logo design was a thrilling aspect of our work with Adeyi; its minimalist style reflects the brand's clean, elegant, and contemporary vision. The flower outline was crafted to serve as a stamp for embossing leather and can also be paired with the outline of the አ icon for labels or patterns. Bidens macroptera, known as Adey abeba, is a flowering plant indigenous to Ethiopia that symbolizes the transition from the rainy season to summer, as well as the close of one year and the start of another. To truly reflect the vibrant Ethiopian heritage of Adeyi's products, we opted for a diverse and colorful palette. The brand colors evoke soft, nature-inspired tones that remind one of summer days and serene moments.
