**About the Client** D’Angelico Guitars is located in New York City and has a rich history dating back to 1932, when master luthier John D’Angelico opened his instrument shop on Manhattan's Lower East Side. Known for their strictly handmade guitars produced in limited quantities, the instruments soon gained popularity among prominent musicians. **The Opportunity** Reviving a legendary brand is a rare opportunity, and our team was excited to be part of this journey. **What We Did** To honor D’Angelico’s legacy, we centered our digital design efforts on the stunning guitars and their deep-rooted tradition. Our focus was on the intricate details of the beautifully crafted instruments, creating a website dedicated to digital storytelling. As users navigated the site, they were transported to old New York to explore the lives of John D’Angelico and his top apprentice, James D'Aquisto—considered “the two greatest guitar makers of the 20th century.” Visitors could interact with the site to admire the craftsmanship of each guitar and discover popular artists who played them. **How it Went** The outcome of D'Angelico’s website exceeded all expectations. It earned accolades such as Awwwards Site of the Day and FWA Site of the Day, along with being recognized as a Webby Best Visual Design Honoree and receiving a Forbes E-Volution Award for Design Aesthetics. The website was also highlighted in numerous design books, articles, and international publications. Beyond the recognition in the design world, the new site revitalized our client's brand, making them a hot topic among top music artists globally. **Our Role** We handled Art Direction, Graphic Design, Illustration, Typography, User Experience, Photo Editing, Front and Back-end Development, User Interface Design, Project Management, and Hand Drawing.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Behind-the-scenes video case study: https://youtu.be/dH7agYWOOMc "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" is a globally acclaimed cartoon fiction series created by Jeff Kinney. With over 250 million copies sold in 66 languages, it has successfully encouraged countless children to read. The Wimpy Kid brand team approached us to revamp their current website, aiming for a modern design that commemorates two significant events: the launch of their animated movie on Disney+ and the debut of their 16th book, "Big Shot." Our task was to develop a website that is both informative and scalable for future updates while also being engaging and enjoyable for fans. We had just four weeks to complete the design, a challenging timeframe to coincide with the new book release and movie premiere. As we worked on the design, we had to carefully manage the front-end and back-end development simultaneously, despite some visuals not being finalized for deeper pages. Due to time constraints, we decided to phase the development strategically. In the first phase, we focused on creating appealing visuals and encouraging book sales, leveraging the visibility from the Disney+ launch. The second phase will enhance the website’s interactivity, inviting kids to return for games and downloadable content. This project has brought immense joy to our team, as we believe that passion shines through in every detail. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Wimpy Kid on such an inspiring project. We are also excited to say that "Big Shot," the latest installment in the series, quickly became an Amazon bestseller.

### About the Client AP Content Services functions as the content marketing branch of The Associated Press. This team partners with brands to craft tailored storytelling initiatives utilizing advanced media technologies and a worldwide network of photographers and videographers prepared to capture newsworthy moments. The branded content is shared across all AP media platforms and advertising outlets. ### What We Did We created an interactive media kit enhanced with micro-animations and a strong emphasis on driving conversions. The upgraded visuals reinforce AP’s reputation as a reliable content creator. We showcased their exceptional projects through vivid photography and designed animated icons that resonate with the audience. The site is contemporary and stylish while also being user-friendly and compliant. We implemented planned calls to action and offered AP Content Services an engaging method to organize their case studies. Users can easily get in touch or request a quote for any product or service. ### How It Went Translating AP’s specific print guidelines and style rules into an interactive format that is responsive across various screen sizes proved to be a bit challenging. However, we are proud of the outcome, which enables future content editors to update the site while maintaining the brand's integrity. The new site for AP Content Services runs on a WordPress CMS and is fully optimized for search engines. It is already achieving strong rankings on Google with its new domain. The contact forms we implemented are integrated with Salesforce, allowing new clients to connect directly with sales team members. Additionally, the site is designed to incorporate OneTrust, a GDPR-compliant Privacy Management Software tool.
