Bliro – Redesigning an AI Meeting Assistant

Bliro

Bliro is an AI meeting assistant that operates directly on devices, capturing, summarizing, and sharing meeting notes without intrusive bots. It connects with Salesforce, HubSpot, and Slack, allowing teams to manage the flow of meeting data into their platforms. Despite its robust technical features, Bliro encountered issues related to user activation, product clarity, and design uniformity. Durran collaborated with Bliro over a five-week period to tackle these challenges. Their work began with a UX audit and a discovery workshop, which involved mapping user personas, workflows, competitor comparisons, and underlying assumptions. This process created a common understanding of the product that aligned design efforts with business goals. They then explored possible solutions and developed rapid prototypes, testing them with five customers to confirm assumptions and refine workflows prior to development. This approach kept the design process grounded in actual user feedback. Ultimately, Durran provided a revamped product experience backed by a scalable design system. Developers received clear, reusable components, which shortened handover times and allowed for quicker iterations. The results included a more defined product identity, enhanced customer activation, and more efficient development cycles. Users reported improved satisfaction with navigation and feature clarity, while the Bliro team achieved the organizational structure necessary for scaling. Pick – Empowering Ride-Share Drivers

Pick

Pick is a mobility platform designed to enhance the experience for ride-share drivers. Unlike most platforms that emphasize passenger experience, Pick focused on establishing a driver-centric ecosystem that increases earnings, simplifies tasks, and builds trust. The key challenge was to create an app that provided drivers with autonomy while ensuring platform efficiency, all while maintaining an intuitive interface for frequent use. Durran collaborated with Pick’s founders to bring this vision to life in a product that drivers would embrace and remain loyal to. The process began with discovery workshops that examined drivers' needs, frustrations, and motivations, along with competitor analysis to find gaps in existing mobility apps. This analysis highlighted significant issues such as a lack of transparency regarding earnings, limited control over rides, and inconsistent support. Building on these insights, we crafted driver personas, mapped user journeys, and developed low-fidelity prototypes, which were then tested with drivers to refine elements like ride acceptance, earnings monitoring, and in-app support. We subsequently established a flexible design system to maintain consistency across both iOS and Android, allowing for rapid enhancements as the platform expanded. The outcome was a driver-focused platform featuring clear earnings dashboards, streamlined onboarding, and tools that empower drivers to confidently manage their rides. Additionally, the design underscored Pick’s image as a fair and trustworthy option in a competitive mobility sector. By integrating design from the outset, Pick minimized costly development revisions and established a product vision grounded in genuine driver feedback, leading to improved adoption rates and providing the founding team with a scalable system adaptable to changing mobility regulations and market demands.

ProfiCircle – Transforming the Fit-Out Constructio

ProfiCircle is a B2B marketplace that links businesses with contractors and suppliers for interior fit-out projects. The platform aims to enhance efficiency and transparency in an industry often characterized by slow, fragmented, and relationship-based processes. The challenge was to create a digital experience that streamlined procurement while accommodating the diverse needs of various stakeholders. Durran collaborated with ProfiCircle to rethink the interactions between buyers, suppliers, and contractors. We initiated discovery sessions to examine the workflows of procurement managers, architects, and suppliers. This mapping highlighted significant inefficiencies, including complicated quoting, unclear communication, and a lack of visibility into timelines and costs. Our strategy utilized UX research, competitor analysis, and iterative prototyping. We designed processes that made it easier to discover suppliers, standardized quotes, and introduced clear tools for comparisons to aid decision-making. Prototypes were tested with users from the ecosystem to refine essential elements like proposal submissions, negotiations, and approvals. To ensure scalability, we created a modular design system that maintained consistency across both web and mobile experiences. This system enabled ProfiCircle to quickly add features as the platform grew while preserving visual and functional uniformity for different user types. As a result, the marketplace significantly reduced procurement time, fostered trust among participants, and provided transparency throughout the fit-out process. By concentrating on usability and clarity, ProfiCircle successfully attracted both large enterprise buyers and suppliers, establishing itself as a reliable digital partner in an industry poised for modernization.
