dmplus.online (in development) and Syfon Studio (graphics) were commissioned by the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw to create a specialized application for the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw, the oldest and one of the most prestigious poster art events globally. This application managed the submission of thousands of entries from over 70 countries, and the novel voting system for jurors significantly streamlined the pre-selection process. The selection committee chose 314 posters from a total of 3,504 submissions! The competition's international aspect was evident in the wide range of expressions, from simple to intricate designs, and from vibrant colors to monochrome works, addressing topics from everyday and personal themes to significant cultural events and pressing social and global issues. This democratic quality of posters as a medium is both visually and emotionally rewarding. The quality of submissions was exceptionally high, ensuring that the Biennale exhibition, which will open on June 24, will showcase the latest design trends and contemporary subjects. Established in 1966 by Polish graphic artists, the International Poster Biennale is the world's first biennale focused on poster art. Notable past winners include Andy Warhol, Hiroshi Tanaka, Kazamusa Nagai, Hans Hillmann, Pierre Bernard, Shigeo Fukuda, Ikko Tanaka, Uwe Loesch, Milton Glaser, Paul Davis, Andre Francois, Mitsuo Katsui, Andriej Loglin, Aleksander Faldin, Henryk Tomaszewski, Jan Lenica, Roman Cieślewicz, Jan Młodożeniec, Waldemar Świerzy, Franciszek Starowieyski, Wieslaw Rosocha, and Jan Sawka.
