A prominent online retailer of used cars envisioned significant sales growth in the future. Their key advantage? An abundance of vehicle data yearning to be tapped into. However, to effectively harness this data and enhance their website for optimal performance, they realized they needed more than their in-house team. They sought innovative and budget-friendly software solutions, which led them to look for external expertise. That’s when Distillery came into play. The nearshore team stepped in to address the retailer's challenges, completely overhauling system design and pricing algorithms to achieve precise used car valuations. Distillery also took it a step further by automating monotonous tasks like gathering data from auction sites, thereby conserving valuable resources. Customers benefited too, as the website underwent significant improvements, including better filtering options and the capability to submit bulk bids. This smooth collaboration between Distillery and the retailer's team ensured a seamless workflow, even amid internal changes and staff reductions. Distillery proved to be an invaluable partner, supporting not only the initial project but the entire process.
