Development of an autosar classic stack

**Problem Statement:** Our client, a top-tier supplier of vehicle control systems, received a request from an OEM to create controls for various components like the automatic gearbox, blinker, and windshield wipers. They opted to use a TC33xx controller from Infineon as the hardware platform, requiring the implementation of all necessary software functions on an Autosar classic software stack. **Solutions:** Throughout the development and testing phases, our team, consisting of three developers, worked on various software components, including: - Refining the software architecture to address new specific application requirements - Integrating and configuring the Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL) - Developing complex device drivers - Configuring the Comstack - Setting up ECU lifecycle configurations and services - Configuring the Real-Time Environment (RTE) and operating system (OS) **Results:** The software platform was completed according to the established project timeline, and all essential features were developed in compliance with the OEM's safety and specific requirements. **Tools & Technologies:** Autosar - DaVinci Developer/Configurator, Vector Cast, Tresos, Artop, C, Canoe.

Porting the legacy software to a 32-bit SoC

Problem Statement: Our client was using a Defibrillator system that relied on a master microcontroller/SoC that was discontinued by its manufacturer. Consequently, a suitable replacement needed to be identified, and adjustments to the initial PCB hardware design were required to incorporate the new SoC. Additionally, the entire software platform had to be transitioned to work with the new SoC. Over the course of a year, our team collaborated with the client’s testing team on various development activities. Results: The solution we developed successfully passed all internal and external certification tests, allowing for continued mass production of the system. Development of OTA feature for an ECU

**Problem Statement:** Our client, a tier 1 supplier in the automotive sector, needed to implement an Over-The-Air (OTA) feature for each System on Chip (SoC) in their high-performance ECU (HCP) platform. There were three SoCs involved: S32G (NXP), S32R, and ZCU 102 (Xilinx). The OTA components for each SoC needed to accommodate all potential update scenarios while ensuring the ECU being updated would not become unusable. The software platform was organized into two segments across the three SoCs: a performance component and a safety component that acted as the overall system master. **Solutions:** Throughout this project, our team of three developers established the necessary architectural framework and facilitated the development and integration of OTA software components throughout the entire software stack, along with the creation of OTA clients for QNX and Autosar Classic.
