Sales Platform for Big Ass Fans

Big Ass Fans

Big Ass Fans (BAF) was in search of a sales platform that could enhance their sales and engineering processes digitally without compromising their renowned quality. Our product team initiated a design sprint to pinpoint critical issues within their sales process, focusing on the essential needs and challenges faced by their internal sales team. One major challenge we identified was the need to develop a web application capable of accurately specifying customer facilities, positioning fans, analyzing airflow data, and generating quotes, all within a single cloud-based platform. The outcome of our efforts is SpecLab®—a sales tool designed for quoting and visualizing complex engineered solutions. This integrated software allows the sales team and customers to visualize and measure the advantages of Big Ass Fans' offerings. Since we began our partnership with Big Ass Fans in 2014, the founder sold the company to a private equity firm for $500 million, which was later acquired by Madison Industries for $1.1 billion. Recently, the BAF team revealed that a significant portion of the value the private equity firm recognized in their business stemmed from the digital product developed through our collaboration. We find that quite impressive.

Data Integration Platform for CVG Airport

CVG Airport

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (CVG) International Airport sought a solution to connect various data points in order to enhance their understanding of the customer journey and improve it. The airport aimed to find a tool that would help their team respond to increased customer demands, promote a growth-oriented mindset, and implement effective business practices. We collaborated with CVG Airport to develop an easy-to-use data dashboard to tackle this issue. Our product strategy focused on creating a digital tool that required minimal training for staff to seamlessly incorporate into their daily tasks. This tool would enhance staff efficiency and make data more accessible and practical. The end result was EASE, which stands for Enterprise Awareness & Situational Exceptions. EASE is a data integration platform designed for real-time operational responses. The powerful platform gathers essential data insights to assist airport operations teams in anticipating customer behavior and addressing issues proactively. Its user-friendly interface organizes and analyzes data into visual tiles. The dashboard enables users to quickly assess the airport's status and offers key recommendations when action is needed. EASE processes complex data sets and automatically interprets thousands of data points throughout the airport, saving time that would otherwise be spent manually tracking, entering, and analyzing data, thereby creating a platform focused on actionable insights for users.

AI & Edge Computing Solution for Lexmark

Lexmark

Lexmark collaborated with Differential to develop an innovative AI solution designed to revolutionize business operations. The platform was created to provide robust analytical features, such as enhanced processing of large-scale time-series data and an easy-to-use interface for constructing queries and exploring information. The analytics engine is compatible with SQL syntax, allowing users to derive insights through user-friendly dashboards. Introducing Optra, a unique integrated hardware and software platform tailored for the quick, secure, and scalable deployment of edge AI applications. Optra includes various features for managing a vast network of connected devices. A key feature is its capacity to create and implement machine learning (ML) models using raw data from these devices. The platform processes, transfers, and/or reveals the data generated by these devices. With just one click, users can deploy these models across their entire device network, irrespective of their locations. By leveraging Optra's edge computing capabilities, businesses can reduce their server needs and infrastructure costs, ultimately saving time and money.
