Filmfestival Design for Sehsüchte52
For the 52nd Sehsüchte Film Festival, we created a modular design system that was impactful in both digital and physical formats. Our aim was to develop a festival identity that conveyed its essence while providing attendees with a cohesive and memorable experience. The design is MODULAR, FLEXIBLE, and VERSATILE, tailored for various communication materials. Our services included: Concept Development, Key Visuals, Corporate Design Strategy, Editorial Design, Communication Guidelines, Poster Design, Out-of-Home Advertising, Product Design, Motion Graphics, and Merchandise Design.
We believe that different perspectives enhance our reality. In crafting a new design language for the acclaimed Sehsüchte film festival, we were inspired by the notion of perception as a form of social interaction. This led us to explore the interaction between concepts of hyperobjects and Bauhaus principles. Our goal was to seamlessly blend the abstract with the everyday, bringing elements of the future into the present. Central to our methodology were 3D sculptures and typography, creating an aesthetic that embodies forward-thinking and nostalgia through non-linear and fluid thought processes, encouraging innovation through deconstruction and new creations. This approach positions "seeing" as a performative activity, while we seek comprehensive perspectives on perception as a form of social interaction.
