Find Your Trainer is an innovative online marketplace that is transforming the personal training sector much like OpenTable, ZocDoc, and AirBnB have changed the way we book restaurants, find healthcare providers, and travel. It enables customers to easily search, schedule, and pay for quality and affordable personal training sessions at premier gyms and studios, without requiring a gym membership, or to arrange in-home sessions at their convenience from any location. The Challenge The client was seeking skilled developers with significant experience in “Product Building” and “Software Maintenance.” Devsar was initially contracted to maintain their existing platform, which had been developed by another offshore IT team, taking responsibility for both the product's Frontend and Backend. Following that initial project, Devsar became the primary contractor and eventually assumed complete management of the product. The Solution We assisted FYT in enhancing their engineering capabilities and accelerating their development speed. We started by augmenting a small portion of their in-house team and began contributing to their custom code. Over time, we became the main team responsible for the product. Currently, we manage the highest priorities and some key project management tasks on a continuous basis, with plans to further expand the platform in the near future.

Matterport is a company specializing in 3D media technology that utilizes computer vision and sensor technologies to innovate engaging photography experiences. They were the first to create a comprehensive system that allows for more immersive interactions, enabling users to experience spaces as they currently are or to visualize potential future changes. To lower costs, Matterport chose to outsource their development work. Our firm was recommended to them due to our proficiency with the technologies they were already using, including Django, Python, and Angular 1 and 2. Consequently, we became their technological partner, tasked with completely revamping the existing dashboard and incorporating new features. To achieve this, we quickly assembled a team of five developers, selecting individuals with the necessary skills and experience to meet the client’s requirements. Our initial major objective was to enhance the user dashboard, which involved a comprehensive redesign and the creation of new interfaces in collaboration with their UX team. We successfully developed and integrated new functionalities, such as the ability to copy and transfer 3D models, and also improved the client’s image and video gallery. A key aspect of our project was the development of a shopping cart, which was built from the ground up using Angular 2 and Angular Material for Material Design. This necessitated a new backend implementation using Django, Python, and Kotlin, along with assistance in integrating Zuora with the billing system. Initially contracted for six months, our partnership with the client has since been extended, and the project has now been ongoing for over a year.

This faulty product hindered their growth and prevented them from meeting their impending business needs. They sought a more adaptable platform to accommodate their rapidly expanding community and were in search of a partner to handle their IT requirements. **The Solution** Devsar applied its web development expertise to undertake a comprehensive code refactoring of the platform in an impressively short timeframe. This process began with an in-depth analysis of the existing platform to pinpoint key components and bottlenecks. We introduced a variety of IT solutions to enhance the platform's speed, efficiency, and design. Additionally, we guided the company in adopting agile project management methodologies and best practices, enabling them to better organize and prioritize their product's business needs, which led to outstanding results. We also restructured the overall architecture to enhance reliability, stability, and security, ensuring it could meet the rigorous due diligence standards of investors and stakeholders.
