TransferGo – Overview of FinTech / International Money Transfers We collaborated with TransferGo, a global fintech company with over 8 million customers in more than 160 countries, to upgrade their multilingual WordPress site into a high-performance, scalable platform. Challenge The previous website for TransferGo faced issues such as slow speeds, an outdated user interface and user experience, inefficient content management processes, and limited scalability. The goals were clear: modernize the content management system, introduce a contemporary design, and enhance speed, flexibility, and capacity for future growth. Solution We executed a comprehensive upgrade that included: Migration to WordPress VIP for superior performance, scalability, and security. Creation of over 220 custom Gutenberg blocks and the adoption of full-site editing (FSE) to enable modular and user-friendly content management. Automation of the generation of over 130,000 pages from organized Google Sheets data (currency pairs), with real-time updates and advanced metadata management. Transition of the hosting infrastructure to WordPress VIP, incorporating CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions and VIP-CLI, thorough testing protocols, optimized caching, asset loading, and server configuration. Results A 56% increase in organic traffic, attributed to improved performance and SEO structure. An enhanced mobile speed score rising from 17 to 57 (+40 points).
