Nexus Health Systems
Before Design At Work could implement our healthcare marketing strategy, we needed to consolidate Nexus' various facilities under a unified health system. This involved renaming facilities and creating a brand to enhance recognition. Our marketing agency embarked on this journey by establishing a bold new brand identity along with strategic messaging through the “Mending Minds” campaign. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about Nexus among potential patients before they required hospital services. Subsequently, Design At Work streamlined the different websites and social media profiles that each facility had when marketed separately, resulting in a cohesive, engaging, and resourceful single website. This consistency extends across all marketing materials, including sales collateral, downloadable resources, conference materials, advertisements, and patient/family support resources. We also standardized admission procedures and documentation, enhanced the marketing resources for Nexus’ pediatric and adult rehabilitation programs, and initiated a patient satisfaction survey process. Design At Work manages the content marketing strategy, regularly producing website and blog content to position Nexus as industry experts while also bolstering organic SEO strategies. Additionally, our creative firm oversees Nexus’ email marketing strategy to maintain connections with referral sources and former patients. To support internal marketing, Design At Work created the #NexusCares campaign to energize staff and express appreciation. We have also developed HR documents and benefits booklets to ensure consistent messaging. As with any brand, Nexus’ campaign eventually needed a visual refresh, prompting Design At Work to conceptualize an updated look that reflects their growth. This new design, which prominently features the Nexus “X,” is visible across the website, marketing materials, and internal documentation and training.
