Planning and Navigating Digital Transformation

SBK Real Estate

Project Value: The projected budget is approximately 2 million USD, with more than 400K USD allocated annually. Project Objective: SBK Real Estate, a property management firm based in Dubai that oversees over 17,000 residential units and 2.5 million square feet of commercial properties, aims to advance into a new phase of efficient operations. The company is keen on overhauling both its operational processes and IT infrastructure. They are seeking to adopt modern technological solutions that will enable efficient scaling and ensure satisfactory outcomes, all while remaining cost-effective. Following our initial discussions with the client, who requested a restructuring, we collected project requirements from all stakeholders. Based on their organizational needs, we established suitable milestones and assessed that the project could be completed within five years. We decided to proceed with the plan. Solution: Through regular communication and collaboration among all relevant stakeholders, I accomplished the following: ▸ Executed numerous large-scale development initiatives aligned with the multi-year integration strategy, delivered incrementally. ▸ Enhanced the IT infrastructure. ▸ Defined key performance metrics for integration and delivery. ▸ Assessed the operational impacts of initiatives. ▸ Managed ongoing communication and collaboration with project managers. ▸ Negotiated agreements with external consultants and implementation partners. ▸ Collaborated closely with internal teams to find ways to enhance their databases and servers. ▸ Developed a strategy for Workflow Automation. ▸ Arranged a partnership with a company to create a tailored ERP solution. ▸ Implemented and optimized several software platforms, including ClickUp, Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), Sangoma, Hubstaff, and HubSpot, to facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders while also overseeing team performance and workflow.

Flora Hospitality

Project Budget: approximately USD 250,000/- Project Overview: Flora Hospitality aimed to undertake a thorough rebranding initiative to boost its brand equity and operational effectiveness. To accomplish this, they sought a partnership with a reputable firm skilled in developing impactful brand strategies. Shebin Hassan, the CEO and owner of Dependopolis, had the following responsibilities: Outcome: This collaboration resulted in several deliverables for Flora Hospitality, including a brand logo, brand name, visual identity guidelines, and applications. They successfully redefined several limited/focused service properties under a new brand identity called Florida Hospitality. Furthermore, distinct sub-brands were created, each with its own unique narratives and attributes, which helped to further enhance the overall brand value.

Led Complete Refurbishment of Two Hotel Apartments

Flora Hospitality

Project Budget: US$ 4 million. Project Description: Shebin Hassan, CEO and owner of Dependopolis, served as Executive Director at Flora Hospitality and successfully managed a hotel renovation project. Key responsibilities included: Result: The renovation of the 180-apartment hotel was completed ahead of schedule, with minimal oversight and without the need for a complete shutdown of the hotel. The project wrapped up in just three months. They adopted a high-risk, high-reward strategy, as it wasn't feasible to oversee the room renovations internally due to insufficient resources to manage multiple floors at once, presenting a significant challenge. Despite this, they effectively controlled costs throughout the project.
