Chopable: Food, Grocery & Home Chef Delivery App
Deorwine Infotech created Chopable, a comprehensive food and grocery delivery application for both iOS and Android, from its initial idea to its launch on the App Store and Google Play. The client's goal was ambitious: to create a single mobile platform that facilitates restaurant food delivery, immediate grocery delivery, and a marketplace for homemade meals from verified local home chefs. Competing in the same market as Swiggy and Zomato, Chopable sets itself apart with a video-based food discovery feature, allowing users to watch short food videos from restaurants and home chefs prior to ordering. Our team utilized React Native to develop a smooth cross-platform mobile experience for iOS and Android. The backend was designed with a scalable multi-vendor Node.js architecture, enabling the management of restaurants, grocery stores, and individual home chefs through a centralized admin panel. We implemented real-time order tracking using WebSockets and the Google Maps API, providing live visibility from kitchen to doorstep for every order. Firebase facilitates authentication, real-time data synchronization, and push notifications. Payment options include UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets via a secure, PCI-compliant gateway. Key features include: — Restaurant food ordering with real-time tracking — Immediate grocery delivery from local suppliers — Marketplace for home chefs with verified onboarding — Short-form video discovery for restaurants and chefs — Admin panel supporting multiple vendors — Integration of UPI, card, net banking, and wallet payments — Live tracking of orders from kitchen to doorstep — Successfully launched on the App Store and Google Play The end result is a sophisticated, production-ready on-demand delivery super-app that caters to consumers, restaurant partners, grocery vendors, and home chefs through one scalable platform. Deorwine provided the complete product, including UX/UI design, cross-platform mobile development, a multi-vendor backend, third-party integrations, and dual app store deployment.
