Sponsoring the X Games sounds pretty awesome, right? However, the letter "X" was considered outdated. Despite launching a significant microsite for the X Games, where "X Games," the letter "X," and "Extreme" were all seen as uncool, we actually managed to secure a Silver Addy for Dew Boarding School. The site featured in-depth articles and interviews with athletes, updates on the latest trends, and exciting live chats. Unfortunately, the XAT (Extreme Aptitude Test) didn't make it... leaving Professor Ecks quite upset. Overall, though, it was a fantastic site and a real success, with the client thrilled, despite the gap in coolness.

What’s the outcome when American Airlines adds giant wings to a New Beetle—besides the risk of freeway collisions? Surprisingly, we developed the most successful microsite for American Airlines up to now. As the writer, I had complete freedom to guide people through AA's new website. The piece went viral, and we were quickly on our way. I just wonder if the recipient of the flying Beetle managed to store the wings in their garage. Or are they still making unexpected flyovers of trailer parks in New Mexico?
