The Context: As the largest nature conservation charity in the UK, the RSPB Shop's acquisition channels were achieving good results. However, it was recognized that optimizing the site could significantly enhance performance, a task that the internal team did not have the capacity to tackle effectively. Zipcar

Background: Zipcar, the largest car rental service globally, provides users with flexible car rentals on an hourly or daily basis. They approached us for assistance in enhancing their online presence. While they had dedicated web pages for various cities, the content did not effectively highlight Zipcar's features and benefits, and the narrative fell short of motivating user engagement and registrations. Our goal: Initial investigations showed that many visitors were not engaging with the content on those pages, resulting in a low registration rate. We were tasked with boosting membership sign-ups by improving the storyline. To do this, we needed to understand user needs before revamping the content, narrative, and design. Our strategy: We began with surveys that uncovered several issues. Armed with this understanding, our internal team developed new copy and design elements aimed at enhancing user experience through thorough testing and experimentation.
