Crowdsite originated as a spin-off from a software development company in 2009, founded by Roel Masselink at the age of 23. We began in the Netherlands with our website, ontwerpen-voor-geld.nl, which quickly became a success and grew to be the largest design platform in the country. This inspired us to envision a future that transcended national borders. In 2011, we embarked on our first international venture with logo-design.de. Significant effort was required to develop a multilingual site tailored to local experiences. After two years of testing and improvements, we were ready for global expansion. In 2013, we opted to unify our brand under one name, and "crowdsite" was ideal for this purpose. Consequently, we rebranded logo-design.de to crowdsite.de and launched the English version at crowdsite.com.
