The Disney | ABC Television Group (DATG), which includes all Disney and ABC-branded media networks, oversees numerous stations that offer news, entertainment, and children's programming both in the U.S. and globally. ABC reached out for assistance in developing DisneyABCPress.com, a website designed to promote various global media networks that needed complex integration. At that time, DATG had six outdated network sites and one corporate site, all built on an old proprietary system, leading to a disorganized experience for over 8,000 press members relying on these sites for updated program information. Content management had become burdensome for ABC staff, who were dealing with multiple complicated processes to update content across all sites. DisneyABCPress.com was envisioned as the solution. Crowd Favorite created a tailored WordPress platform that unified all seven sites into a single system. This approach provided one administrative interface, greatly simplifying content management for ABC staff, enabling them to publish and edit content from a single location. We also implemented a bulk editing feature that allowed them to manage hundreds of images simultaneously. Custom templates were designed to reflect the unique branding of each site while maintaining overall cohesion across DisneyABCPress.com. By establishing a unified site structure, we achieved a consistent look and feel, enhancing the user experience. Additionally, we streamlined the navigation to ensure important pages could be accessed with minimal clicks.

Open Source Integration for Victualic & GfK

After developing a tailored digital platform for Victaulic, Crowd Favorite was entrusted with integrating a new third-party product data service into the foundational Open Source system they created and managed. Victaulic, a leader in global manufacturing, required a "single source of truth" for their products to enhance efficiency in product management across their website and distributors. They chose GfK, a global organization that partners with suppliers for inventory management, to optimize their inventory process. The task was to establish a dependable method for synchronizing data from GfK to Victaulic and to replace the existing manual product update process. Crowd Favorite developed a custom solution that connects with GfK to retrieve new or updated product information. To create a user-friendly experience for the Victaulic team, a comprehensive API integration and a tailored administrative user interface were developed, enabling the management of site-specific product data. This initiative resulted in a single source of truth for product inventory that is easily updated, reduces overhead and maintenance costs, enhances accuracy, and facilitates scalability. Victaulic can now add new products and implement updates more swiftly, allowing them to deliver products and information to their distributors and clients more quickly, thereby decreasing overall time to market.

Open Source Marketing Campaign Site for Campbell's

Campbell Soup Company

Campbell Soup Company has developed seven fun and interactive children's games based on “Finn & Friends,” a concept related to their well-known Goldfish Crackers. They have launched a new website designed to showcase exciting characters while ensuring safety and robustness against vulnerabilities. By utilizing previous custom developments, Crowd Favorite minimized code modifications, which helped the internal security and vulnerability assessment teams save time and resources. By applying existing designs and frameworks, Crowd Favorite created a tailored WordPress website that also serves as a template for future projects. This custom framework allowed Campbell Soup Company to efficiently produce websites for their various brands in just a third of the usual time. With a focus on building Digital Ecosystems, Crowd Favorite aims for all project outputs to be scalable, reusable, and sustainable. Campbell Soup Company recruited Crowd Favorite to design a new themed website to coincide with a marketing campaign featuring children’s games. The optimal approach was to develop a site framework that could cater to this campaign and other upcoming ones throughout the year. Crowd Favorite then began building an interactive marketing site, which could also serve as a framework for additional brands and future marketing initiatives. This allowed Campbell Soup Company’s marketing team to enhance the Finn & Friends game universe with new characters, dubbed the Epic Crunch Heroes, on a distinct website, all while ensuring compliance with their internal IT team’s rigorous standards. As a result of collaborating with Crowd Favorite, Campbell Soup Company launched a new marketing campaign website 81% faster than the previous version while investing 33% less.
