Magento Dev & UX/UI Design for Nutritional Supplem

Cogent Commerce has developed and managed additional extensions and features for the Gosupps website. We provided assistance with front-end development and oversaw their AWS infrastructure. In terms of the front-end, we focused on UX/UI design. For the back-end, we handled customizations related to new functionalities and modifications to existing extensions and modules. We began with a significant customization task requested by our client concerning OneStep Checkout. They wanted to ensure that three specific custom extensions (gift code, free promo product, and Magento inbox discount rules) would work seamlessly together. After accurately estimating this task, we completed it on schedule, leading to a subsequent request to customize and develop a mobile menu layout according to their specifications. We further enhanced both the front- and back-end of the site, implementing a new front-end design and executing necessary customizations using HTML and JavaScript. They also have a mobile site in the form of iOS and Android apps, which is currently basic and web-view based rather than being a native application; our team is now engaged in its further development and customization. We are also responsible for the app’s UI/UX design. Since January 2020, we have been providing on-demand implementation of new features and customizations, maintaining AWS hosting, addressing bug fixes, and offering 24/7 support for their multi-store, multi-website platform, with our collaboration ongoing.

Scan Malta

We offer web development and SEO services to the Scan Malta online store. Cogent Commerce is effectively assisting Scan Malta with all aspects of web development and online sales. Our goal is to enhance the website's performance to create a more user-friendly online shopping experience using the Magento 2 e-commerce platform. At the outset, we encountered a significant issue with the Transactium Payment Gateway. This problem was intermittent, affecting only some customer orders—while payments were processed, the corresponding orders weren't recorded in the Magento 2.3.3 version with this custom gateway integration. We spent several days trying to replicate the issue without success, but through extensive logging on the live site, we discovered that customer sessions were sometimes lost during the return from the payment gateway, leading to the issue. We implemented a solution that resolved this problem, and the client was very pleased, as it was a high-priority matter with a direct impact on the brand due to the high traffic the store receives daily. After fixing this issue, we continued to address various requirements and provide daily support, enjoying our work on this project. We focus on performance optimization from both the application and server sides, regularly install the latest security patches, and offer on-demand support for feature implementation and customization, including ongoing maintenance. We assist with all facets of website development and online commerce. In addition, we are working to improve our Google visibility, introduce a new payment method, and maintain continuous support.

Magento 2 Dev, Google Ads & SEO

Abcdepot UK

We were approached by Prax Patel, the owner of abcdepot.co.uk, to offer web development, web design, Google Ads campaign setup and management, organic SEO, and graphic design services for his Magento 2.3 online store. Cogent Commerce has been responsible for the development and maintenance of abcdepot’s e-commerce website, including the creation of an API to connect it with their ERP application. Additionally, we assist them with Google Ads and SEO services such as keyword research and blog content creation. In terms of e-commerce web development, we handle all necessary updates. For instance, if they need to enhance the click-and-collect user experience on their site, they come to us for improvements. We also create web pages and implement APIs when required. Given the constraints of their shipping areas, we implemented a feature on their site to automatically notify visitors outside of their delivery zones. Originally, we built their website from the ground up using Magento 2, but we are now preparing to assist them in creating a new site, which will involve both design and development, with them providing the content and images. We will also need to develop an API for this new website to connect to their ERP system. Our work includes optimizing site performance, developing custom modules, integrating third-party modules, enhancing security, migrating hosting, and fine-tuning the server with tools like Varnish and Redis. Additionally, we provide Google Ads campaign setup and management, along with management of their social media marketing and organic SEO efforts. On the development and design front, we respond to daily requirements from their eCommerce manager, aiming to help grow their business according to the milestones set by the owner.
