We successfully merged the marketing and personalization capabilities of Sitecore with the product catalog management and shipping features of Magento to create a distinctive website that can achieve international success. This was part of a custom integration designed specifically with Brompton and its customers in mind at every development phase. Sitecore includes built-in marketing tools and personalized elements that greatly enhance user experience. In today's highly competitive market, providing contextual customer experiences is essential rather than just a luxury. Sitecore excels at creating multilingual, multiregional websites with translatable content while ensuring high performance, which we aimed to incorporate throughout Brompton's new site. Meanwhile, Magento's e-commerce strengths allowed us to deliver the best of both worlds for Brompton.

The PFA iOS App

The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA), one of the oldest professional unions for athletes, partnered with Codeminers to create a new iOS app that complements their redesigned Sitecore website and custom CRM system. The PFA tasked Codeminers founder Simon with developing an app that not only mirrors the features of their new website but also provides members with access to a personal portal containing essential information about their careers, both on and off the pitch, as well as other capabilities and statistics. Developed using iOS Native, the app enables members to access the PFA’s helpline around the clock, stay informed about industry news and updates, and find the latest information on educational and coaching courses. The PFA app has received significant acclaim for enhancing member engagement with the Association. Simon stated, "The PFA needed an app that would connect with their members and facilitate the dissemination of news, offers, and member benefits from Sitecore. It had to be secure and tailored to each member's needs. This was a fantastic project to be involved in, and the team is very proud of what we accomplished."

When The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) approached Codeminers, Ben Simpson, the Head of Digital Communications, aimed to refocus attention on the Association. Established in 1907, the PFA is the oldest professional sports union in the world, dedicated to advocating for the rights, conditions, and status of all professional players. Seeking assistance with their technical initiatives, the PFA engaged with Codeminers' founder, Simon Proctor, to discuss their specific requirements for updating their digital platforms. Ben mentioned, “We have been collaborating with Simon and the Codeminers team for just over a year now. We are close to completing three major projects—a new website, a custom internal CRM database, and an iOS app. We have greatly valued their extensive expertise across various areas and their systematic approach to the work. Simon has consistently invested time to grasp our needs while also offering practical advice and candid insights.
