With only two weeks until the deadline, we organized several sprint sessions focusing on identity (logo, devices, and copy), web design, and development. The site was set to launch in a "minimal" form, typical for a new start-up, with job postings, job board integrations, and additional page features scheduled for future updates. Built using Gatsby and React, with a WordPress backend, the static site achieves remarkably fast load times, boasting page scores of at least 98. From a user experience standpoint, our main goal was to direct visitors towards available job openings, with calls to action planned for implementation later. The design was intentionally straightforward, balancing a professional look with functionality. Considering the recruitment industry Branch was entering, we paid extra attention to the technical development of the website, anticipating that the target audience—Matthew and Branch's potential clients—would evaluate it based on their own digital asset development standards.

In recent months, Warrington Borough Council has collaborated with Code and Create to create a new independent website for the beloved Walton Gardens park in Warrington. From the outset of this project, working with this company has been a delight. Starting an online store is an art form. It requires the right product, appropriate pricing, and a well-designed website (of course, we would emphasize that). This new brand offers high-quality furniture at significantly lower prices, but it lacks customer reviews. Thus, creating a design and user experience that mitigates perceived risks was essential. With a fresh start, establishing an identity that conveys quality and durability was crucial. We also needed to create brand guidelines that would allow for future growth and a tagline that effectively communicated our values and offerings. Additionally, we aimed to develop a website that was extremely user-friendly for purchases right from the beginning. Combined with custom engraving tools, complete integration with WooCommerce, and personalized Gutenberg blocks, we were excited to embark on this project.
