**Our Narrative** Welcome to Cobit Solutions, a dedicated team of 20 BI architects and specialists in Power BI and Azure, boasting over 150 years of collective experience in IT. We create comprehensive Data Warehouse and ETL integrations, along with customized dashboards for 22 different sectors, transitioning from manual reporting to secure, daily analytics. Our services include Power BI consulting, staff augmentation, and fixed-price implementations. In 2024 alone, we successfully delivered 457 dashboards and completed 47 Power BI projects, facilitating quicker decision-making, enhanced transparency, and measurable results for our clients.

Helen Marlen Group

Today, we are presenting a case study on the implementation of Power BI in the fashion retail sector. Notably, this project required us to work from an existing platform developed by another party. The challenges encountered by the Helen Marlen Group included: - The company had an operational BI system that collected data, but it frequently overlooked certain information, necessitating regular checks on the output. - The internal implementation was not entirely successful, as the staff member assigned to the project lacked proficiency in Power BI. - The outsourced team worked slowly and required ongoing supervision. Here’s a summary of our actions: Implementation - Creation of Power BI reports and dashboards Dashboard design and development - Building dashboards using Power BI, Microstrategy BI, and Power BI Report Builder - Redesigning current dashboards - Refinishing or recreating dashboards developed by other firms and integrators - Supporting the implemented business analytics system - Establishing automatic data updates Integration and data management - Connecting Power BI with existing IT systems - Structuring ERP data for analytical reporting - Conducting DAX data analysis and development Consulting - Providing advice on the development and implementation of the BI system and analytics. A large medical network approached us with three primary objectives: they needed quicker information updates, better data visualization, and precise budget forecasting. We analyzed these needs and identified several key issues: - Daily updates on activities within each doctor's office, including appointment counts, services rendered, and room bookings. - Rapid access to financial reports with detailed profit and loss statements, income, and expenditures. - Automated reporting on operational business metrics, both current and forecasted. - Comparison of performance across different facilities with decentralized oversight. - All reports should be visually engaging and easy to interpret. - Accurate budget forecasts grounded in profit and loss data. We tackled all these challenges and more through the following actions: **Business Intelligence Implementation:** - Designed the architecture for a future BI system. - Created a roadmap and outlined stages for implementing Power BI. - Developed Power BI reports and dashboards. **Dashboard Creation and Design:** - Built dashboards using Power BI, Microstrategy BI, and Power BI Report Builder. - Established automatic data updates. **Integration and Data Management:** - Integrated Power BI with various IT systems. - Linked Power BI with ERP and structured ERP data for analytical reporting. - Developed data marts within a Data Warehouse (DWH). - Visualized data and created Excel-based management reports. - Conducted DAX data analysis and development. **Consulting Services:** - Provided guidance on the development and implementation of the BI system and analytics. - Developed a data management and governance strategy. - Conducted workshops for employees on using interactive dashboards and creating their own dashboards. In summary, we have successfully addressed and resolved all the challenges presented by the medical network. We are pleased to continue our partnership, providing ongoing maintenance and implementing new changes as requested by our client beyond the initial project scope.

One of the major organizations in the energy sector has reached out to us at Cobit Solutions. This situation illustrates how the implementation of business intelligence (BI) in the power industry can offer significant competitive benefits. What were their goals? Donbass Energo aimed to maintain a competitive edge and was open to exploring the advantages of Power BI. While this industry deals with substantial financial transactions, energy companies generally remain quite traditional.
