ABOUT COALESCE

We solve problems for brave souls with great ideas

Since 2006, we have combined digital expertise, user-centered design, and creative determination to simplify life for you, your users, and perhaps even the universe. We function as a unified team while operating through four specialized studios: Brand, Product, Content, and Engineering. Regardless of whether your project requires one studio or all four, we leverage our collective skills to tackle every challenge. The brand studio focuses on creating distinctive artistic elements (such as workshops, brand guides, visual identities, and logo development). The product studio transforms innovative concepts into reality (including roadmaps, UX audits, UX research, personas, user journeys, UI design, and high-fidelity screens). Meanwhile, the engineering studio develops enduring products (like custom software, iOS and Android development, API development, app modernization, and emerging technologies). Some notable brands we have collaborated with include AMC Networks, Chipotle, Air Liquide, Knopman, and Inman News. Why choose Coalesce? Are you ready to create something remarkable? The Creative Factor

The Creative Factor is a magazine that highlights individuals whose talents and imaginative perspectives change our understanding of the world and ourselves. We created a brand identity that embodies the fusion of craftsmanship, career, and culture. The brand logo, representing a trio of creativity, is made up of a series of triangles layered transparently to illustrate the distinctiveness of each person's creative journey.

Coco & Ray

Baum Essex

Baum-Essex, a manufacturer renowned for producing items for brands such as Nautica, Jones New York, and Steven Madden, sought to capture a larger share of the market by launching its own line of beach apparel and accessories. Their goal was to appeal to younger, fashionable female consumers with a new brand that emphasized design. Coalesce provided a comprehensive brand development package that included market research, a fresh name, and a complete brand book featuring various brand marks and a unique pattern set designed for both physical products and their digital marketing efforts. The logotype was custom-designed, incorporating understated embellishments to enhance the brand's charismatic, aspirational, and refined qualities.

Fin News

The publishing brand FIN needed to revamp their premium newsletter subscription service, which involved developing a more comprehensive website and improving the user experience. Significant changes were essential for them to retain their current users and compete effectively as a digital publisher. They were struggling with an outdated design, various disconnected product offerings, multiple subscription tiers, and a Salesforce integration plagued by bugs. With obsolete technology and no internal product team to guide them, they were uncertain about how to proceed. We suggested a strategy based on a phased approach that would enable a complete transformation of their existing brands, tools, and platforms with minimal disruption while making substantial improvements for their users.
