Catalytic Security recently had the honor of collaborating with Go Petroleum, which is now part of Aramco, to carry out a detailed IT Risk Assessment and assist the organization in achieving ISO 27001 certification. This initiative was vital in preparing Go Petroleum for its integration into one of the world's largest energy companies. As Go Petroleum expanded its operations under the Aramco umbrella, it was essential to ensure that its information security management systems were strong and aligned with international standards. Our collaboration began with a comprehensive IT risk assessment designed to identify potential vulnerabilities in their infrastructure, taking into account both their current operations and future scalability as part of Aramco. After the assessment, we guided Go Petroleum through the ISO 27001 certification process, which involved developing and enacting robust security controls, policies, and procedures aimed at protecting critical assets and data. Our team worked closely with Go Petroleum's IT and compliance teams to ensure that every element of their information security management system (ISMS) complied with the strict requirements of the ISO 27001 standard. Black and Grey Box VAPT

Pak Kuwait Investment Company Ltd

We provide cybersecurity solutions customized to address the specific requirements of our clients. Recently, we collaborated with Pak Kuwait Investment Company Ltd, where we were engaged to perform both Black Box and Grey Box Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT). The Black Box testing mimicked the perspective of an external attacker with no prior knowledge of the internal network, allowing us to thoroughly evaluate the company's external defenses, spot potential vulnerabilities, and verify the security measures protecting the system's perimeter. In the Grey Box testing, we blended insider knowledge with our methodologies to create a scenario where the attacker had limited access to the internal network. This combined approach helped us identify deeper vulnerabilities, ensuring that Pak Kuwait's systems were safeguarded against both external and internal threats. Through careful testing and analysis, our team generated actionable recommendations, highlighting vulnerabilities that could have endangered critical systems. We subsequently provided a detailed report outlining prioritized remediation strategies to enhance Pak Kuwait’s overall security posture. Our efforts enabled Pak Kuwait Investment Company Ltd to strengthen its defenses, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protecting its financial operations from cybersecurity threats.
