Sucker – Brand Identity / Packaging Design

Sucker

Sucker is entering the sustainable utensil market with a stylish and eco-friendly collection of glass straws. This concept draws inspiration from the patterns of crystal cocktail glasses, combining elegant and whimsical design elements. Delicate line drawings integrate with bold arms and fingers, creating a playful character that reflects the brand's identity. Some visuals utilize glass overlays that highlight the straws' curved shapes while suggesting a different perspective through glass. Emphasizing sustainability and minimizing New Zealand's reliance on single-use plastics, the branding and packaging cater to both environmentally conscious and discerning consumers.

Sage & Grace – Branding / Packaging / Illustration

Sage & Grace

Sage & Grace, a local cakemaker and whole-foods caterer, focuses on providing food that is both nutritious and tasty, while also being simple to prepare. Our objective was to develop a unified brand identity for the various aspects of the business, as well as packaging for their new line of organic and gluten-free Cake Kits. Collaborating with the team, we designed a gentle and lovely brand aesthetic featuring watercolor illustrations and calming colors, drawing inspiration from the beloved children’s book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Nothing Naughty – Branding / Packaging

Nothing Naughty

Targeting 'everyday athletes' and health-conscious consumers, Nothing Naughty creates and manufactures its own organic products and supplements. Calico was enlisted to craft a consistent and memorable brand identity for this established company. We designed a vibrant and playful visual style, featuring loose line illustrations that emphasize the brand's transparency and the absence of any hidden ingredients in their products.
