About the Team

OUR STORY

Buuuk began in 2008 as an experimental app created by founders Mohan S, Hon Cheng, and Joven, shortly after Apple released the iPhone. Their initial project was a comprehensive directory app for Singapore's local eateries, showcasing opening hours and amenities. This innovative work captured significant attention, leading to client engagements from prominent companies including major advertising firms and Bollywood enthusiasts. Over more than a decade, Buuuk evolved from this app into a respected client servicing consultancy known for design-led innovation, with offices in Singapore and Vietnam. The leadership team's expertise spans technology development, award-winning app design, and experienced client consulting, underpinning Buuuk's partnerships with technology leaders and ongoing commitment to pioneering emerging technologies.

Portfolio

Daimler Sales App Design & Development

Unknown

Daimler aimed to develop an application for sales consultants to facilitate car sales on a single platform. Previously, consultants had to conduct thorough searches to gather details like pricing and car availability. The objective was to simplify this process by designing an app that would consolidate all the necessary information for the sales consultants.

Decathlon - Custom Software for Retail Space

Unknown

Challenges Decathalon needed a skilled web and UI/UX company to create a proprietary web-based middleware that connects their software with mechanical systems. They aimed for a scalable solution to help their e-commerce team meet their two-hour delivery promise. Solutions Decathalon outlined the project's objectives and deliverables in a technical requirements document. We then engaged them in a discovery process and several workshops that refined our goals and user journey. Throughout development, Buuuk employed agile methodology to ensure regular updates and clear communication. Buuuk dedicated up to seven team members, including UI/UX designers, web and mobile developers, and a technical project manager to create the solution. Impact Buuuk delivered the solution on schedule. Its scalability allowed for adjustments to the web-based settings based on Decathalon's business requirements. Within a few months, Decathalon's daily volume tripled. The solution also enabled Decathalon to consolidate their e-commerce operations into a single platform, optimizing their processing time and reducing costs.
