Client: A startup focused on intelligent document processing Objective: To establish a system for insurance agencies to digitize their claims processing, capable of automatically identifying the type and layout of insurance claims while extracting both typed and handwritten text. Results: We have developed an AI-driven data extraction module specifically for insurance claims that rapidly identifies document structure and extracts pertinent data in just minutes. This module processes claims data for further action, identifying claim types (such as medical or business) and layouts, and supports bulk processing. The AI system accommodates various claim templates and formats, enabling smooth data extraction from diverse claim types. It can identify input fields and classify them—such as free-text boxes, date and time fields, etc.—while also extracting data from those fields. The AI module recognizes multiple types of input fields and extracts data accordingly; for example, it can identify checkboxes to see which options have been selected. The claims handled by our client frequently involve tables containing crucial information that requires extraction and processing. Our developed module can evaluate tables of any complexity, pinpoint table cells, and extract both table titles and their contents into an Excel file for further manipulation.

Chatbot For Database Search

Objective: Create an intelligent search system for a database housing thousands of documents that track project progress, aimed at minimizing the time spent searching for information while also limiting access to confidential or sensitive data according to employee access levels. Results: We developed a smart chatbot utilizing multiple language models, which decreased the time employees spend searching for information by 35%. Multiple Language Models Approach: Due to the sensitive nature of the data in the database, employing large language models like ChatGPT was not feasible due to concerns regarding potential data leaks. Instead, we adopted a different natural language processing strategy using several smaller language models to handle data. Objective: To develop an AI-driven CV processing system capable of automatically extracting pertinent information and evaluating candidates’ skill levels. Results: We have created an AI module for processing digital CVs that promptly extracts key details such as candidate names, expected salaries, skills, and experience, regardless of document format. The entity extraction, which identifies specific data within documents, is handled by ChatGPT 3.5. When a user submits a query, the app extracts entities from candidate CVs and assigns a qualification level—such as "junior," "middle," or "senior"—for software engineering candidates based on their skills and accomplishments. Semantic search has been integrated to allow users to enter broad search terms and receive precise results. After extracting the entities, the app sifts through the relevant CVs and displays them to the user. We utilize Elasticsearch to evaluate and rank candidate CVs based on how well they correspond to the search criteria.
