**CHALLENGE** Pluto aimed to enhance its global presence and expand its reach on smart TV devices, necessitating a higher level of software quality. To achieve this, they decided to supplement their internal software development team with external professionals. **SOLUTION** During the December holiday season—an inherently challenging period for hiring—Pluto sought a team of up to ten senior members with specific expertise. We reached a compromise by assembling a dedicated team of four top-tier specialists within a month. Our hiring process took 31 days, significantly quicker than the industry average of 52 days. While these specialists addressed Pluto's urgent tasks, we also identified six more of the needed experts. Over the course of a year, the team expanded to 23 engineers. In their first year, the team successfully achieved several important objectives: - They optimized, stabilized, and improved Pluto's software, enhancing user-friendliness, speed, and competitiveness in the market. - They transitioned from a monolithic architecture to microservices, resulting in a stable, easily scalable system that enabled the crucial integration of additional technologies. - They incorporated Bootstrap API, enhanced energy-saving features, and implemented a ‘Video On Demand’ functionality in both Android and iOS applications. - They developed an internal analytical tool for AdTech to monitor user engagement statistics, audience behavior, and time spent metrics. - They connected Pluto’s software with Viacom’s backend to facilitate swift and consistent data exchange and improve organizational patterns within the clusters. **RESULTS** - The newly launched international desktop, iOS, and Android Pluto apps became highly rated in the market. - The number of monthly active users grew to 12 million. - Customer revenue tripled by the end of 2018. - The shift to a microservices architecture enabled Pluto to forge over 140 new business partnerships with major industry players, including Viacom, Sony, Samsung, and Vizio TV.

**CHALLENGE** At the close of 2018, the owners of BRAGI GmbH aimed to develop a second generation of their product and selected Brightgrove as their new collaborator.
