Lurssen

When Lurssen, one of the world's largest shipbuilding firms, arrived in Croatia to initiate the Maritime Innovation Cluster, or Mar/NN, they sought BrightDock's expertise in branding, naming, and platform design and development. We were enthusiastic about the opportunity to help position Croatia as a notable maritime nation in Europe once again. The color palette of green, blue, and purple intertwines as if the sun is shimmering beneath the water's surface. Green symbolizes digital innovation and sustainability, blue denotes professionalism and the maritime sector, and purple represents a more contemporary and youthful alternative to the traditional darker blues often associated with larger companies. The incorporation of pink hues adds a touch of passion and emotional depth, highlighting the human aspect of the cluster. The logo we designed is wholly organic and distinctive, flowing like the ocean itself, and is paired with a blend of modern yet timeless typography to reflect their adaptability and agility within the robust maritime industry. The end result is a striking and memorable logo that captures the intersection of digital elements, such as artificial intelligence and data science, with innovation and a fresh perspective.

Freelancer | UI/UX Design

Freelancer

Freelancer is the largest online community for independent professionals, serving over 50 million users, including businesses, startups, and specialists. As their user base rapidly expanded, the European Freelancer Headquarters recognized the need for a more sophisticated and powerful user-friendly interface. This new design aimed to enhance user experience and resolve several persistent issues. They approached BrightDock for a streamlined platform that would distinguish them from competitors, foster brand loyalty, and increase customer satisfaction. We at BrightDock were excited to be involved in such a significant project. Our team examined the platform from all angles and meticulously planned the process. We aimed to create a modern user experience that incorporates the latest design trends to cater to Freelancer's extensive user base. Our goal was to produce a product that combined sleek aesthetics with high performance for a company generating billions in revenue. The final design featured a cutting-edge, customer-focused layout that prioritized conversion and efficiency, while refreshing the overall experience and empowering users. We developed intuitive workflows, clear visuals, and ensured that information was easily accessible for a variety of use cases. Freelancer was thrilled with their new user-friendly design, which effectively addressed long-standing issues in the hiring process. The new lightning-fast user interface streamlined bidding and milestone achievements, simplifying essential tasks to just a few clicks for both employers and freelancers.

Airbus | App Design

Airbus

Given that Airbus is responsible for the safety of millions of customers and employees, we were thrilled that their team chose to collaborate with BrightDock. Any innovations and modifications to their maintenance system and repair processes are likely to have a significant global impact. We were honored that the Airbus team challenged BrightDock to develop new solutions, and we were tasked with identifying an effective approach for efficient maintenance and repair management, as well as real-time communication with engineers. Consequently, we decided to implement the Matrix in the Airbus workshop. We created a machine learning application that utilizes real-time vision through Google Glass. When the field engineer wears the glasses, they can scan for corrosion on surfaces. Upon detecting corrosion, the images are transmitted to the main room for in-house engineers to review. The machine learning software highlights the affected areas, and if the in-house engineer verifies these markings, the repair map is displayed on the field engineer's Google Glass. Our innovative software development has streamlined a complex and challenging process through automation.
