Enterprise High-Performance Team Augmentation

NetApp

NetApp - Maximizing Cloud Benefits for Customers NetApp leads the industry in simplifying and accelerating cloud transformations for businesses like Dreamworks, Ducati, and Coca-Cola. At a pivotal point in its growth, the company sought a development partner to enhance its bandwidth and speed to meet ambitious deadlines. The Need for Collaboration With various development projects underway and a growing demand for application capabilities, NetApp recognized the necessity for specialized front-end and DevOps skills. John Shults, Senior Software Manager, reached out to Briebug to help meet their tight deadlines without compromising on quality. “We encountered many new requirements that were focused on the front end. We needed a partner that could quickly adapt, work independently, bring expertise to solve challenges, and provide strategic guidance on our processes.” Key Decisions and Solutions Implemented Briebug deployed two skilled enterprise software engineers as part of its high-performance team augmentation model, aimed at providing NetApp with strategic insights and best practices. The combined team devised a phased strategy to swiftly implement several key recommendations essential for NetApp's dynamic development objectives. Sustained Delivery of Rapid Innovation The collaboration with Briebug not only expanded NetApp’s expert resources but also yielded a significant return on investment through enhancements to coding standards, tools, and processes. “Our partnership has been incredibly beneficial. Briebug allowed us to accelerate our pace, which was exactly what we needed. This collaboration has made a strong impression on me and on other managers in the organization.”

Complete Outsourced Development Partnership

JPMA

**JPMA - Supporting Women and Children in Need** JPMA offers a mobile and web application named WICShopper, designed to assist women and children participating in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Through WICShopper, WIC participants can conveniently check their real-time benefit balances and scan products to confirm their eligibility for certain items while shopping. **The Need for a Partner** After years of self-funding to establish a foothold, the company was developing its product without seasoned engineers, project managers, or UX designers. As various WIC agencies across multiple states began to recognize the product's potential, JPMA faced several technical hurdles. These included maintaining two distinct native applications (for Android and iOS), rapidly adding features, and managing an increasing number of users (over 80,000 daily with more than 5 million requests each day). **Key Decisions and Solutions Implemented** With a market-validated product but lacking the specialized resources for its maintenance and advancement, JPMA formed a partnership with Briebug to enhance its product management. They entrusted Briebug entirely with their development efforts. “Briebug assisted us in ways we couldn’t have managed if we had continued down a traditional route of hiring full-time employees.” In typical Briebug style, a multi-phase strategy was implemented to ensure the existing product continued to serve customers while also executing critical architectural decisions that would facilitate JPMA’s expansion. **Continuously Delivering Rapid Innovation** JPMA can now swiftly develop new functionalities and features for its users without the management burdens and risks associated with an internal development team. “The partnership fundamentally transformed how JPMA operates, and I believe it has been a crucial factor contributing to our ongoing success.”

Strategic Rebuild for Accelerated Time to Market

Go Carrera

GoCarrera connects flooring dealers with qualified flooring installers across the country. After collaborating with a development team in India to create their initial platform, they encountered issues with software quality and a shortage of experienced developers, which limited their ability to meet changing customer demands. Co-Founder Daniel Drouhard stated, "We reached a stage where even minor adjustments became extremely difficult." Correcting one bug often caused another, making their product hard and costly to manage. The platform was poorly designed and unable to provide the essential features that engaged potential customers were looking for. To turn things around, GoCarrera teamed up with Briebug to completely rebuild their application from scratch, focusing on a design that is user-friendly, easy to maintain, and efficient. As a result of this partnership, GoCarrera has seen significant returns on their investment, including the capacity to quickly implement new features and accommodate customer requests while they work towards finding their ideal product market fit.
