VOX Global Website Overhaul & Redesign

VOX Global

**Summary**: Vox Global, a prominent strategic communications firm in the US, sought to create a modern website that would effectively showcase their insights in a user-friendly manner. Collaborating with Brave's creative team, they reimagined how to present their information on a redesigned site. The goal was to maintain their reputation for thought leadership while updating the content's presentation. **Our Approach**: We developed a visually appealing dark-mode animated design that incorporated filterable content and a scrolling display, utilizing the latest WordPress builder. Vox Global aimed to revamp the way their content was organized, shifting from traditional content divisions to a more cohesive format for their services, case studies, and articles. In partnership with their team, we designed a new Information Architecture that enhanced user experience and allowed for a more integrated content delivery. We then implemented this structure into wireframes and design, while the client focused on revising the content. The outcome was a streamlined and modern website that offered users various methods to search for and access information.

Blue Line Capital Branding & Website

Blue Line Capital

Blue Line Capital, a professional investment advisory firm based in the U.S., aimed to modernize and enhance its online presence with a new website and updated branding. Collaborating closely with Bill Baruch, the president and founder, we embarked on a comprehensive rebranding project to revamp both the online and offline image of the firm. This included developing a complete brand book, a new corporate identity, a fresh investor presentation, and a website designed to highlight Blue Line Capital's legacy, professionalism, and expertise in wealth management. To reflect the 'line' concept inherent in the company name, we designed an elegant new logo and expanded that theme across the corporate identity, investor deck, and the new WordPress website. Branding: The rebranding process kicked off with the creation of a sophisticated new logo tailored for Blue Line Capital's high-net-worth clientele. We leveraged the 'Line' from 'Blue Line' to brainstorm various design options, drawing inspiration from the existing logo, online elements, and the investment sector (considering Blue Line Futures). This line motif became foundational to our logo design and influenced the brand patterns and design strategies. Once the client chose their preferred logo, we proceeded to select vibrant colors, modern typography, and aspirational images that complemented the brand identity. Custom illustrations were crafted to reinforce Blue Line Capital's unique selling propositions: 'active', 'opportunistic', and 'tailor-made'. Each illustration visually conveys these attributes and adds depth to their meanings. These branding elements can be utilized in both digital and print formats. Website Development: The website was developed using WordPress and Elementor, allowing for a quick turnaround and providing an easy-to-use content management system for the client's administrative team to publish insights in the future. The site is optimized for search engines, fully responsive, and functions flawlessly on various devices.

EWT Turbine Monitoring Dashboard

EWT Direct Wind

**THE PROJECT** EWT, a prominent supplier of wind turbines for decentralized wind energy solutions, required a tailored, user-friendly web portal. This platform would enable their customers to log in securely, monitor the real-time performance of their turbines, and download statistics and reports from any location. Additionally, clients needed the capability to remotely start and stop their turbines through the portal. **OUR SOLUTION** Each EWT turbine's PLC operates an industrial OPC UA server that makes live turbine data available exclusively to authorized systems. Brave was tasked with finding a way to relay this live data to EWT’s clients in an appealing format on the Internet. To achieve this, we developed a custom Java Internet server that connects to each turbine, retrieves data in real time, and reformats it for web use. Clients can then log in to access a sleek, user-friendly dashboard with straightforward features. This server operates in the cloud, allowing it to efficiently manage any number of connected turbines. The Java server is designed to be efficient; it goes into sleep mode when inactive, conserving computing resources and bandwidth. It only retrieves real-time data for a specific turbine when a user opens the app to view it. **THE DASHBOARD** The custom application, developed using Backbone JavaScript and WebSockets, streams the collected data from the Java server to the user's web browser. The EWT dashboard provides customers with a real-time overview of multiple turbines, their statuses, and output power—all displayed on a single map with metrics summarized clearly. **ANIMATED GRAPHS** To present the data effectively without overwhelming users, we created various graphs, charts, dials, and gauges using Highcharts. These visual elements update dynamically as data flows through the WebSockets connection.
