ABOUT BRANDING & BUZZING

Be on the tips of all the right tongues

Sharing food stories since 2011, we founded Branding & Buzzing with the conviction that social media would revolutionize how we eat, cook, and dine out—and we were right. Nowadays, when top food and beverage brands in North America want to capture a moment, promote a message, or introduce a new product, they come to us. We welcome them with a friendly smile and a Jarritos. Our key strength has always been our extensive network. With years of experience in the food industry, many of our former colleagues have become leading chefs, mixologists, and restaurateurs in the country. We enhance our clients’ menus with their products, while they use their menus to highlight our clients’ offerings, resulting in a delicious win-win for everyone. Our clientele includes some of the most recognized names in food and foodservice—you know them because that’s our mission, and we excel at it. Let’s discuss how we can assist you.

Jarritos

Unknown

**BACKGROUND** Jarritos is a popular Mexican soft drink. In 2017, they selected us as their first Agency of Record in Canada. We presented them with a comprehensive market strategy that involved content creation and curation, influencer marketing, and social media advertising and engagement strategies. **WHAT WE DID** We took full control of the Jarritos brand in Canada, which involved: 1. Creating original photography and recipes for their website and social media channels 2. Developing an influencer marketing program with product samples and detailed guidelines for promoting the brand 3. Implementing a bartender/mixologist program that resulted in numerous new cocktails featuring Jarritos. **WHAT HAPPENED NEXT** Jarritos has established itself as THE Mexican soda in Canada. The "Behind The Bar" program has gained immense popularity among bartenders, mixologists, and customers, and our influencers have enjoyed working with the brand, producing some of our best photographs.

McCormick For Chefs

Unknown

BACKGROUND: Foodservice accounts for 40% of McCormick’s revenue, making chefs' opinions crucial. Each year, McCormick engages with top chefs by sharing trends and ingredients, inspiring them to develop unique recipes featuring the brand's signature spices and seasonings, offer advice to peers, and create shareable, valuable content. WHAT WE DID: We enhanced the McCormick for Chefs program, amplifying the brand's presence in the foodservice sector by: 1. Recruiting new chefs. 2. Motivating their involvement. 3. Promoting the content they produced. Additionally, we led the digital marketing strategy, which involved crafting organic stories, running Facebook and Instagram ads, and facilitating communication for chefs to connect and learn more.

Canola Eat Well

Unknown

BACKGROUND In 2014, Canola Eat Well approached us to enhance their visibility among Industry Experts, Food Influencers, Instagram personalities, Registered Dietitians, Mommy Bloggers, the Media, and Chefs—while also providing them with engaging stories about Canola oil and its producers. WHAT WE DID We developed a flexible yet structured event framework that could accommodate different themes while consistently adding value. 1. We select a theme, an activity, and Canola-based dishes to highlight. 2. We invite the right guests, chefs, and hosts for each event. 3. We handle all logistics, including venue selection, staffing, and guest services. 4. We monitor outcomes and gather insights. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT The Canola Eat Well Series continues to thrive. We conduct several programs throughout the year, regularly introduce new themes, and attract interest from new chefs and influencers at each event. The recipes created in our workshops are exceptional, and the content we develop is highly valuable. Attendees consistently appreciate the complete story of Canola, including its origins and the farmers involved in its production.
