The client aimed to enhance their mobile web pages primarily to boost revenue. Our focus was on raising the average order value and improving conversion rates, all while working under a strict deadline to finish the project before Cyberweek. We began with a free design audit of their product page, identifying four major areas for improvement: 1) the current page wasn't optimized for conversions; 2) the site's loading speed was inadequate; 3) the autoplay feature of videos was distracting users; and 4) there were issues with mobile compatibility, as several interactive elements on the desktop version did not function properly on mobile. With these focus points in mind, we implemented the following enhancements: 1) established a clearer content hierarchy; 2) made technical SEO upgrades; 3) restructured the call to action (CTA), price positioning, and payment options following eCommerce best practices; 4) positioned reviews at the top of the page to provide immediate social proof; 5) updated images dynamically according to product selection; and 6) made product configuration options more visible next to the add-to-cart button. The outcome: a 44% increase in conversion rates and a 50% rise in revenue.

Custom Golf Club Fit Wizard

TrueFitClubs

Dan Sueltz, the owner of TrueFitClubs, dedicated over 30 years to establishing one of Colorado's most reputable pro-golf retailers. He sought a partner to give his online store the same meticulous care that he invested in every club. With Dan's popular blog driving significant organic traffic to the TrueFitClubs website, the challenge lay in converting those visitors into buyers. Over three months, we collaborated with Dan to enhance the eCommerce experience. Initially, we conducted a free design audit and identified three major areas needing improvement: 1) the current design was not appealing enough to encourage purchases of costly clubs; 2) the fitting quiz failed to explain crucial aspects of club purchases, leaving customers uncertain; and 3) the purchasing process was complicated and lacked adequate instructional content on club configuration. By addressing these areas, we simplified the brand's messaging regarding the club-building experience and achieved the following results: 1) provided content that clearly showcased TrueFitClubs’ expertise and building process; 2) created an interactive 'Fitting Wizard Quiz' to assist customers in selecting the ideal club; 3) developed a personalized buyer profile for improved customization; and 4) streamlined navigation to better educate shoppers on specific products or to facilitate further browsing. The outcome was impressive: a 166% increase in revenue and a 60% rise in average order value.
