Spot Bot - Digital skin cancer assistant

Skin Check Champions

The first digital assistant of its kind is designed to raise awareness and help users book skin check appointments, aiming to decrease the incidence of skin cancer and melanoma. Our team was involved in the Spot bot project, creating a Facebook Messenger chatbot using the ManyChat platform. The Bot Forge also developed and oversees services that allow the chatbot to locate skin check clinics. Spot Bot operates within Facebook Messenger, aiding users in finding the nearest clinic and sending reminders for their appointments. It features a quiz to evaluate skin cancer risk and offers additional information about skin cancer. The Bot Forge collaborated closely with Reny Digital, Skin Check Champions, and Meta throughout this project.

Tommy the Help For Heroes AI Chatbot

A web-based AI chatbot created for Hero for Heroes. Like many organizations, the customer support needs changed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, prompting the necessity for enhanced support on the Help For Heroes website. A chatbot was essential to assist visitors in locating the right information and delivering a seamless means of obtaining appropriate support. Named Tommy, this AI chatbot utilizes the Dialogflow ES platform for its natural language understanding technology. With the help of machine learning, Tommy evolves over time as more intents and utterances are incorporated into the model that drives him, making him smarter. Our in-house analytics and chatbot monitoring platform, Chatseer, enables clients to extract essential chatbot usage metrics, allowing our team to quickly and efficiently enhance the chatbot's effectiveness. Tommy can manage over 200 distinct inquiries, each with numerous training phrases. He retains context, employs entity extraction, and asks follow-up questions to provide more pertinent answers. Additionally, he utilizes free text and rich UI elements to guide users effectively. The chatbot also engages in small talk and automatically corrects spelling errors. To ensure an exceptional customer experience, it's crucial to handle fallback scenarios smoothly and allow for handovers to human operators when necessary. Training for the Tommy chatbot is ongoing; we continuously refine responses and introduce new ones through machine learning, ensuring that he becomes progressively smarter. The Results: "The feedback from Help For Heroes has been overwhelmingly positive so far. Tommy is diligently answering all inquiries. It's important to note that Tommy is driven by machine learning, which means he will continue to improve over time with consistent training."
