Jasmine Palace

Unknown

In January 2019, Bluescope was contacted by Jasmine Palace to discuss a redesign of their restaurant website, jasminepalace.ie. The current site, built on WordPress CMS, was not optimized for mobile devices, posing a challenge for displaying food menus online. While they frequently updated their PDF menus on the site, the platform was unsuitable for the mobile users who made up nearly 80% of their traffic. Moreover, the website allowed customers to purchase gift vouchers, but this function was hosted on a sub-domain, requiring users to leave jasminepalace.ie to finalize their purchase. Though functional, it would have been more beneficial to integrate this e-commerce feature directly into the main site. Bluescope started the website development in mid-January 2019, and the project was completed by mid-March 2019.

Luxury Design Floors

Unknown

Luxury Design Floors had been using a WordPress website for several years. Although it functioned properly, it was poorly maintained and not optimized for mobile devices. Additionally, part of the site was developed using Java, a language increasingly regarded as a security vulnerability in recent years. Bluescope collaborated closely with Luxury Design Floors to design and launch a new website using the Joomla CMS. The previous large website, which contained numerous duplicate and unlinked orphan pages, has now been streamlined into a user-friendly multi-page site. Visitors can easily locate the information they need within one to three clicks thanks to a well-organized menu structure. The revamped website allows Luxury Design Floors to effectively display their portfolio of past and upcoming flooring projects while also generating customer inquiries through strategically placed online forms.

ProLab

Unknown

Bluescope initially met with ProLab in October 2018 to discuss the development of an e-commerce website aimed at selling premium prints and canvases to their photographer clients at competitive prices. After thoroughly exploring ProLab's specifications, we began the design of a mobile-friendly e-commerce platform where pricing and purchasing options would be restricted to registered users only. Since ProLab serves exclusively photographers, the website includes functionality to approve or reject new user registrations. Once a registration request is approved, users can log in using a secure, auto-generated password and proceed to buy prints and canvases. After a user purchases a specified number of prints or canvases, they gain the ability to upload their artwork. Given the high quality of photographers' work, the maximum upload limit is set at 2048 MB. On the website's backend, ProLab can download a .zip file containing the images for printing and shipping.
