Layra – Multi-currency wallet MVP

Layra is a minimum viable product (MVP) multi-currency wallet tailored for Arab and MENA diaspora users residing in Europe and the UK. Many of these individuals continue to depend on informal or uneven methods for managing and sending money, and most current applications lack localization for Arabic speakers and mobile-centric design. BlueGateX created a cross-platform mobile MVP utilizing Flutter and Firebase. The app features onboarding and account setup, a wallet homepage displaying balances, basic transaction history, and comprehensive support for Arabic and English with right-to-left layouts. We developed a sleek, contemporary user interface and a scalable architecture that will allow future integration with licensed banking and payment services. For the backend, we employed Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Functions to ensure secure data storage and handle business logic. The codebase is organized for quick updates, enabling the addition of new features like KYC, virtual cards, and transfers in subsequent stages. This MVP has helped us confirm the concept with prospective users and partners, collect feedback on the user experience, and establish BlueGateX as a reliable partner for fintech and digital wallet initiatives.

Muhtaj – Donations & social marketplace app

Muhtaj is a mobile-centric social marketplace that empowers individuals to give, receive, or trade items and services within their local areas. The aim of the app is to facilitate donations of unneeded items, provide assistance when required, minimize waste, and support community members. BlueGateX developed the minimum viable product (MVP) utilizing Flutter for the mobile interface and a Node.js/TypeScript backend with REST APIs. The app features user registration and login, user profiles, the creation of listings complete with images, categories, location, and options for "free or paid" items, along with basic search and category browsing functionalities. We emphasized a user-friendly experience tailored for Arabic-speaking users and communities, ensuring smooth navigation and detailed listings. The architecture was designed with the potential for future enhancements, such as chat functionalities, reporting features, and an admin dashboard. The Muhtaj MVP allowed us to validate the concept with initial users and community organizations, showcasing BlueGateX's expertise in developing community platforms, classifieds applications, and social products that integrate technology with tangible societal benefits.

Layra Learn – online learning platform MVP

Layra Learn is an online educational platform developed by BlueGateX aimed at Arabic and English-speaking learners, particularly students and young professionals in Europe and the MENA region. The goal is to provide an easy-to-use, mobile-friendly interface for accessing practical courses in areas like programming, technology, business, and more, offered in both languages. The minimum viable product (MVP) is designed with three primary roles: students, instructors, and administrators. Students can explore courses by category, view details, enroll, and monitor their progress, while instructors have the ability to create and manage courses, upload lessons and materials, and submit their credentials for evaluation. Administrators can review instructors, approve courses, and oversee platform activities.
