The Challenge In the summer of 2019, Heather McGregor, a remarkable interior designer, visited my office. While she was clearly talented, her website needed improvement. It had effectively launched her business, but she was looking for a design that better reflected the current vibe of Redeux Decor. Additionally, she wanted a site that was easy to maintain, showcased her future projects, and continued the blog she had started on her previous site. Early in 2020, just before the quarantine began and when the new year seemed promising, Heather approached us to create a custom Canva template for her client welcome packet. We designed a stunning layout that incorporated elements of her website, ensuring brand consistency. The Outcome The result was a website that matched the beauty of the designs Heather creates for her clients. She came to us with a clear visual identity and excellent portfolio images ready to use, making the development process straightforward. We focused on creating content and a layout that highlighted not just Heather's work but also her personality and services. Since that wonderful day in 2019, Heather has added numerous amazing projects, published many blog posts, and increased her website traffic tenfold. She’s thriving, and we take pride in being a small part of her success. Her client welcome packet remains effective; when new clients come on board, they receive a personalized version of this document, ensuring a smooth start to their collaboration.

The Sage School

**The Challenge** The Sage School, an innovative establishment for grades 6-12, set out to transform the educational landscape. Founders Harry Weeks and Chris McAvoy envisioned a revolutionary approach to schooling that would create an environment that genuinely values and empowers young people. However, as they implemented their groundbreaking strategy, the school became bogged down in educational jargon, which obstructed the effective communication of their innovative concepts. As The Sage School progressed and prepared to move to a new campus, they acknowledged the necessity for a strong brand strategy to distinguish themselves from traditional educational norms. This prompted them to partner with Blue and Pine in search of a comprehensive solution to clearly convey their unique identity and educational mission. **The Outcome** Their new campus features a modern and striking design, consisting of sleek, understated buildings centered around a prominent large red barn. Located in the picturesque Quigley Canyon, the campus blends harmoniously with its environment, radiating a sense of belonging as if it has been part of the landscape for ages. Sagebrush grows abundantly, enveloping the nearby hills in a natural embrace. At the heart of their educational philosophy is the aim to cultivate a profound connection between students and nature. The tranquil beauty surrounding their learning space not only influences their experiences but also inspires their refreshed brand identity.

Brand Transformation: McMinn Ortho gets a new look

McMinn Orthodontics

The Challenge Once their new office space was completed, they aimed to update their website to reflect this change. The McMinn Orthodontics project presented a complex challenge: to integrate their growing business, now located in a new building, with an engaging online presence and enhanced printed materials. In 2018, we initiated their brand transformation with a new logo that captured their dedication to transformative orthodontic care, and in 2022, we began developing their new website. The Outcome Our partnership resulted in a complete redesign—a fresh website that not only represented McMinn Orthodontics’ philosophy but also connected with their audience. In addition to digital improvements, we focused on creating physical brand materials, such as notepads, business cards, and stickers for their client retainer cases, all of which aligned perfectly with their brand identity. Central to our joint effort was the genuine commitment to their patients, reflected in their statement: “Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, and beautiful smile you’ve always wanted.” We embraced this principle, understanding the importance of the patient’s choice to pursue orthodontic care, and aimed to enhance their experience throughout all our creative projects.
