Zubin complements this with his specialization in mobile robots and manipulators, contributing technically while overseeing growth and partnerships. His academic journey includes a Bachelors in Engineering Physics from IIT Guwahati and past research affiliations with CMU and IIT Delhi. Rahul enriches the team with over seven years in product management, strategy, branding, and marketing across diverse sectors, holding degrees in mechanical engineering from IIT Kanpur, and supports product and growth initiatives for early-stage startups.

Electric Sheep Robotics

ESR is a company located in the US that specializes in creating industrial autonomous lawnmowers. They sought technical consulting and software development assistance to transition their robots from initial prototypes to commercially viable products. We created drivers for various sensors and actuators to support their ROS-based autonomy system and designed their safety architecture to meet certification standards. Our support extended to preparing them for production and scaling in areas such as DevOps, fleet management, data collection, and cloud integration. Our contributions were instrumental in establishing a robust software framework and increasing their fleet from 2 to over 25 robots deployed in the field in under a year. Currently, ESR has acquired several landscaping companies and is focused on developing embodied AI to enhance outdoor robotics autonomy.

Peppermint Robotics

Peppermint Robotics specializes in creating robots for floor cleaning and automated material movement. We assisting them right from their early days as they sought a partner with expertise in software development and deployment for AMRs in the industry. Collaborating closely since their inception, we played a crucial role in building their robotics platform, advancing from the concept phase to pilot testing in under six months. The robot includes features such as obstacle avoidance, complete area coverage, and sophisticated cleaning capabilities. We efficiently addressed significant issues related to coverage planning, localization, control, and hardware integration, while also advising on hardware, sensor, and actuator selection. Today, Peppermint is recognized globally in the cleaning robot market, operating in numerous countries.

Robotics for Wounded Warriors

Codet LLC

We collaborated with a US-based company on a proof-of-concept project aimed at helping quadriplegic veterans achieve greater independence in their daily lives. This initiative worked alongside a US Army medical center dedicated to the rehabilitation of injured soldiers. The project's result was an electric wheelchair-mounted robotic arm. We created comprehensive software for the system, which featured an accessible user interface that operated through voice commands. The system utilized AI for perception and could autonomously plan and move the robotic arm to carry out tasks such as opening doors, handling objects, and retrieving items from refrigerators. Initial trials at the medical center yielded positive results, and the next phase of development is currently in progress.
