Our journey began modestly in 2012 when our founder, Jyotirmay Samanta (whom we affectionately call Joe), was employed at Google in Silicon Valley. Thanks to his connections with local entrepreneurs, we were able to secure several projects for early-stage startups, assisting them in architecting, coding, and launching their SaaS products with support from a robust development team based in India. The feedback from our initial clients was overwhelmingly positive, leading them to recommend us to their business associates, which helped us acquire more customers purely through word-of-mouth. Meanwhile, Joe transitioned from Google to Salesforce and then Amazon, gaining valuable technical and business insights from some of the industry’s leading companies. This experience was instrumental in establishing top-notch business and technical practices within BinaryFolks, driving substantial growth in the following years. In 2015, thrilled by the company’s remarkable success, Joe returned to India to rejoin the BinaryFolks team. Though we began with just a few startups, we have since expanded our customer base to include a diverse array of clients, ranging from fledgling companies to large multinational corporations, including Fortune 50 companies across over 15 countries. Consequently, we developed a Chrome extension that helps Amazon sellers enhance their revenue by minimizing the time spent monitoring competitor prices, while also implementing a dynamic pricing strategy. Sellers can set up customized dynamic pricing rules for each product category, and the extension automatically adjusts pricing based on these rules, current market dynamics, and historical data. We needed to automate the refund process so that candidates who appear and pass an exam receive a refund, while the vendor is reimbursed by the corporate entity. Solution: BinaryFolks developed a portal where corporate employees can register using their company email to find and sign up for exams relevant to their certification training program. Admins have the option to bulk import CSV files containing candidates' email addresses and names, thereby pre-approving them for the exams, which allows candidates to book exams without waiting for additional approval. After results are published, candidates can upload their results to the portal, and if they pass, our system automatically processes the refund of the exam fee. Additionally, we created a comprehensive analytics tool that enables admins to visualize, monitor, and evaluate the quality of the courses, track candidate progress, and analyze performance for each training program offered by vendors. Solution: BinaryFolks developed a real-time collaboration tool that enables both teachers and students to engage in learning sessions together.
