Configuration App for Prosthetic Hands

Unknown

The client engaged Binary Forge to create a cross-platform mobile application for Android and iOS/iPadOS, intended for medical professionals to configure prosthetic limbs. Additionally, users of the prosthetic devices would have the capability to update their firmware. Binary Forge successfully developed and launched a responsive cross-platform application that accommodates both phones and tablets. This mobile app was supported by a SaaS portal, enabling the client to manage system access, oversee firmware updates, facilitate controlled releases, and ensure backups of patient configurations. The project utilized AWS technologies and complied with stringent medical system regulations for patient confidentiality. It was completed within budget and aligned with the client’s release timeline.

Support and Software Development Contract

Unknown

The client reached out to us when their existing supplier was unable to continue supporting their platform. They sought a software development company capable of offering ongoing assistance for their AWS cloud-hosted solution. Additionally, they required development resources to maintain and enhance the platform, which was built using enterprise Java technologies and an open-source database engine. Binary Forge has collaborated closely with the client to deliver daily support for the platform, ensuring reliable uptime and connectivity with the remote devices it oversees, as well as providing a service desk to handle issues and requests. We are working with the client to create work packages aimed at addressing technical debt and implementing new product features.
