Real time equipment monitoring platform

Tagup is an online platform that tracks various types of equipment globally. Its goal is to anticipate equipment failures and downtime before they happen. The challenge was to quickly develop a responsive Single Page Application (SPA) using Vue.js while also supporting the existing backend built in Node.js. Initially, there were constraints related to time and budget prior to the launch of the first Minimum Viable Product (MVP), necessitating a well-tested and stable web application and backend. The process began with creating an MVP that required rapid development with minimal resources. Following the MVP launch, we introduced new features and a revised design, alongside implementing unit and end-to-end testing, as well as weekly planning and review sessions. The web and backend development was executed by specialists from BinarCode, with our team functioning as an extension of Tagup's internal team, providing valuable technical expertise and experience. As a result, engineers can now access live equipment data and forecasts through a swift and responsive web application with just a few clicks. The application is utilized by engineers and teams from various companies around the globe. BinarCode delivered features and enhancements aligned with the client’s roadmap, enabling the platform to manage real-time data from sensors, user organizations, asset management, and historical asset information. Our partnership with Tagup is approaching its one-year mark and continues to thrive.
