TOP AD-TECH FIRM LEVERAGES BYS FOR AWS MIGRATION

INTEGRAL AD SCIENCE

CLIENT'S CHALLENGE: IAS aimed to gradually move its entire infrastructure to AWS, including a solution that enables customers to monitor and enhance ad campaigns across various platforms, like Facebook. Central to this technology is the capability to gather, process, compile, and analyze data on ad impressions, clicks, views, and other interactions associated with specific ad sessions. Over time, their on-premise system for ingesting ad events became cumbersome to manage and challenging to scale. It was not designed for cloud deployment and required re-engineering to streamline code management, utilize AWS native services, and achieve optimal performance in the cloud. OUR SOLUTION: Within a span of less than six months, Beyondsoft updated and transitioned the IAS solution to AWS. Before the migration, Beyondsoft completely restructured the solution's codebase and created a cloud-based ad event ingestion system that could support multiple partners, reduce operational costs and coding efforts, and scale dynamically to handle unexpected peaks in volume. To enhance the code and facilitate scalability, Beyondsoft assessed the logic for each partner, identifying common code and pinpointing specific areas for partner-related logic. This initiative established a more straightforward and transparent codebase that could be quickly adapted for new partners while being easier and more economical to maintain long-term. Additionally, the restructuring optimized the solution for cloud utilization and took full advantage of AWS capabilities. TECHNOLOGY USED: Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), AWS Fargate, Kinesis Data Streams (KDS), Kinesis Producer Library (KPL), Kinesis Client Library (KCL), Amazon S3, Glue, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, Cloud Development Kit (CDK), CloudFormation. WORLD LEADING CRUISE LINE IN SEATTLE ENGAGES BYS FOR PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS IMPLEMENTATION

Unknown

CLIENT'S CHALLENGE: The clients faced a common issue—despite having vast amounts of customer and sales data, the reports and dashboards produced from this historical data were primarily descriptive and diagnostic. They failed to provide predictive insights into customer behavior patterns and trends that sales and marketing could utilize to identify and target the “best customers” for more effective selling. OUR SOLUTION: Online businesses have recognized the immense value and potential in their big data, which includes sales figures, customer/user information, and sentiment data. Major companies across retail, travel, hospitality, and entertainment have adopted AI/ML to enhance their marketing and sales strategies. Predictive analytics is one of these capabilities, evident in recommendation systems, dynamic pricing, real-time calls to action, and user profiling/segmentation. While e-commerce giants have allocated significant in-house resources to machine learning and predictive analytics, over 70% of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) struggle to overcome technological and financial challenges. Beyondsoft developed its Machine Learning-as-a-Service (MLaaS) platform to eliminate these barriers, enabling businesses to achieve a competitive edge without the complexities, specialized knowledge, or high computing costs associated with AI/ML. The services for user profiling, recommendations, and forecasting provided clients with profound insights into customer needs and behaviors. With these insights, sales and marketing efforts can be more effective in upselling, converting purchases, developing new products and services, and predicting future performance. World Top 10 Largest General Insurance Company BYS

Tokio Marine

CLIENT'S CHALLENGE: The IT team at Tokio Marine HCC faced a dual challenge: they needed to lower licensing expenses associated with their application and database infrastructure while also modernizing their platform to facilitate future growth and enable instant scalability. OUR SOLUTIONS: Following comprehensive discussions and assessments with the client, the Beyondsoft Big Data, Analytics, and DevOps team developed a detailed three-part migration strategy. The main goal of each migration phase is to reduce licensing costs tied to proprietary Microsoft systems while enhancing computational efficiency with fewer and more affordable resources to handle workloads. • - TECHNOLOGIES UTILIZED: Amazon Web Services • AWS Database Migration Service • AWS Aurora • AWS PostgreSQL • AWS CodeCommit • AWS CodeBuild • AWS CodeDeploy • AWS CodePipeline • AWS CodeStar • AWS API Gateway • AWS Elastic Load Balancing • AWS IAM Secrets Manager • AWS Aurora • AWS WAF • AWS Direct Connect CASE STUDY DOWNLOAD: https://www.beyondsoft.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Data-migration-ins...
