Behavin collaborated with Golden Gate to create and implement a secure and scalable Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment for their new AI assistant, which aims to enhance the efficiency of investment advisors by utilizing the latest AI technologies. The objective was to establish a robust, well-documented, fully automated cloud infrastructure that adheres to regulatory standards.
**Challenge**: Golden Gate required a cloud foundation that could reliably support AI services while fulfilling stringent data protection, operational resilience, access control, and long-term maintainability requirements. The solution needed to accommodate both testing and production environments, offer clear audit trails, and adhere to Google Cloud Partner best practices regarding security, sustainability, and operational excellence.
**Our Approach**: Behavin developed a comprehensive GCP architecture that included:
- Cloud Run for deploying containerized AI services
- Cloud Build and Container Registry for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) and artifact management
- Cloud SQL and Cloud Storage for secure data management
- Vertex AI for model hosting and inference
- Secret Manager and Cloud Logging to ensure compliance, auditing, and security
We worked with Golden Gate to create detailed IAM roles and permissions to maintain least-privilege access among teams. The entire infrastructure was coded in Terraform, providing Golden Gate with fully reproducible environments, automated deployments, version-controlled change history, quick recovery and onboarding, as well as identical testing and production configurations. Automation scripts can reconstruct the entire platform within minutes, promoting consistency and minimizing the risk of human error.
**Results**: Golden Gate now runs a secure and compliant AI hosting environment with dependable support backed by SLAs. This platform enhances advisor productivity, allows for the safe integration of advanced AI models, and lays a sustainable groundwork for future AI projects. By utilizing Terraform and adhering to Google Cloud best practices, the system is maintainable, auditable, and poised for growth.
